And a F-86K shooting aim-9b at a J29A in a 0.3 downtier is okay? I think decompression is the problem here…
Yes I only played the Italy one a little but it’s probably worse than the lim5 in every way besides the roll rate, two 9b and way more ammo. From what I remember the turn speed is just abysmal once you get to high speed. I don’t think the afterburner even allows a much higher max speed, but it may allow it to keep speed better. We must not fall for the hunter f1 bait where it’s assumed it holds speed well when in reality thats because it can’t turn.
I’d be fine with them going to 8.7. It’d probably be really good but not extremely unbalanced. Other f86 are fine though at their ratings mostly besides fix the italy cl13
J29A is more maneuverable plus better cannons
J29A is slower, but I don’t have it. A better example is I guess SK60B. It’s slow, can’t get guns on, and generally is worse in every way except raw turning
First off I love the SK60B, secondly err… better cannons better maneuverability and its 2 BRs lower

They’re better but the issue with them is that they have an odd mounting, they’re essentially Adens so if you have Britain or Fr*nce try the Adens or DEFAs

F40 has more instant turn than the 13b, which in some cases makes it better.
Subjective to use case.
But lets not forget the rest.
imo in a pure dog fight, both planes are equally as dangerous.
I do believe the F40 ~500 pulls more than the 13b does. Though, its only like a degree more or so.
Youd be surprised what 2ft longer wings with slats does for lift.
Its closer than youd think depending on how each plane is played.
