Generally one of the fastest non after burning jets at their BRs.
.50s can be bad. Rudder certainly isnt though.
86K might not be a legacy sabre, but its too quick for any lower BR + it has 9b
The F40 has 9b, on top of longer wings and slats. Its the 2nd best sabre lol.
its the first or 2nd best turning sabre btw.
No plane at 8.0 that carries missiles is a better fighter than any sabre.

Its been a while now since ive played these, but nothing has changed.
Most of the sabres are under tiered. The 8.0-8.3 ones are especially strong, while the 8.7 F2 Sabre is still very good.

I’ve not played the F-86K (this is the funny nosed radar version by NA-R right?) but doesn’t it have an afterburner and missiles?
I mean, no offense by this, but the Sabres, especially the 9.0 JASDF (TT) F-86F-40 is VERY GOOD. I have a positive KDR in it…

I have the plane. I’m trying to spade it. The guns are God awful, all they like to do is “hit” and no damage. The afterburner is ok but the price you pay for it (btw, it’s subsonic even w/ afterburner in a dive) is an extreme lack of manueverability, which is really damaging. It gets 2x Aim 9Bs, which, no offense, but big whoop. They are 9Bs. When you can’t turn they don’t do much at all.
The way I view it is the F-86K is the same BR as the F-11F, is as maneuverable as it, has worse guns, less missiles, and is slower.
Or the Sa’ar, which is as fast, as maneuverable, has better guns, and drastically better missiles (Shafrir 2s, which are just Aim-9Ds). And is also the same BR.
The F-86F-30/40s are ever so slightly slower, but honestly I’d rather .50s over the M24A1s, and they are also much more maneuverable all while retaining the missiles.
In all what I’m saying I guess is the F-86K is outclassed at its own BR by other vehicles. 8.7 certainly wouldn’t hurt it.
Just because it’s fast doesnt mean its good. Yes it’s very difficult to kill for anything other than a Sea Vixen, but anyone with a brain wont die to it.
This is in relation to the F-86K: G.91, Scimitar, Javelin is on par with it which is depressing, the worst 8.3 in the game btw, Mig-15 (and Bis/ish) MiG-17, F9F Panther, the list goes on
The F-86K has an afterburner but because of that its too fast to maneuver when used but not fast enough to outrun anyone meaning its literally pointless, as for the others any other decent 8.3s/8.7s are the same speed or faster like the Sea Vixen (I know it’s 9.0 now)
20mms are certainly worse than the .50 cals, and as to the rudder it could be because the stupid F-86K is too fast to maneuver and its locking up after 600 kph like the others
As I said in my prior post, AIM-9Bs are irrelevant, they’re not good missiles, they’re only useful against people who dont play properly and/or people who stall out in front of you, not a good way to balance them. As I said earlier in this post, F-86K is fast… just fast enough to stop itself from maneuvering, it locks up at 600/700 kph and maxes out at roughly 1080, which really isnt anything good for its BR
Thats what I mean, its better at turning than the others, but still a brick, MiG-15s clown on Sabres with ease

Uh I think by memory my KD for the F-40 sits around about 1 as well, idk if its negative or not but its not “Very good” as you claim, its just okay, the F-40 isnt anything special, its slow but its got a great roll rate

It’s not just “fast”. It has amazing top speed, amazing acceleration, literally the best gun at this br bracket with huge ammo pool and it can easily energy trap and kill almost anything that it faces. Only real problem might be MiG-19 and MiG-21s in full uptiers.
F86k is a sabre that forgot how to turn.
It’s so much worse than an f40 or f-2 yet at a higher br.
It should definitely go down to 8.7.

Mostly because it has great energy fighting capabilities. Yeah, it’s a snooze mobile because it’s extremely tedious to actually bleed people out, but it is capable. I played Italian one while going trough that tech tree. Overall miserable experience but not due to the performance, rahter it’s just very tedious and boring playstyle
there is no scenario where a plane like the a5 sabre is somehow so bad it needs to go from 8.0 to 7.0 or 7.3
I can see an argument for 8.7 f86k but advocating to drop all the others by TWO BR STEPS uniformly is insane

Nah no more compression, just move everything up. For pretty much any plane currently, it shouldn’t ever face what it faces in a full uptier.
At the moment moving pretty much anything down will just transfer the problem downward
I didn’t expect hjnbnb to drop ragebait. Every F-86 bar the F-86K and CL13 Mk4 are undertiered right now.

They look at the plane they current play, get 90% uptiers, suffer, whining at the forum.

Maybe my next topic is about the Ayit, lower it to 9.3 again, because I suffer against F-5s or J-7Ds. lol

definite skill issue to say the best jets at their BRs need another downtier. Explain to me why a F-86F-25 would be 8.0 or why a F-86A-5 would be 7.7
That guy just needs to get better, the F-86K is pretty bad stock (although I heard it’s fine when spaded) but the base Sabrejets are absolutely glorious.
But tbh I knew he was saying nonsense as soon as he made a connection between the F-86K and the F-86A/F, those have literally nothing to do with each other aside from the name
