cant wait for them to make a 12.7 CR3 which just gets the aps system from the merkava (it has an aps and good gun must be highest tier (the win rates don’t lie))
also yes i do also think the CR2 and CR3 are the nicest looking mbts, its the main reason i grinded this tech tree.

cant wait to have to spend months arguing over 20mm of armor on the ammo rack only for gaijin to give it to us on the test server only to strip it away from it when the update goes live.

I personally would love to see the CR2/2F/TES/OES gets moved down to 11.0.
L27A1 being the worst top tier round, would actually be decent at 11.0. Your not going to get bomb rush by Leopards/STRVs and BVMs every single match before you find a spot you can attempt to snipe from since your so slow.

If the TES got its actual protection from its NERA, Composite sides etc then maybe, before everyone got stock darts, it mightve been worth more than the other 2 Chally 2s its foldered with. But ofc now everyone gets stock dart, and so unless you’re fighting autocannon tanks (which can pen you anyway because Gaijin sees the “STANAG 5” requirement in such a way that its only met when you include the tank’s own armour, and the armour pack, rather than just the armour pack.

Since 99.98% of the matches are full uptiers, so it’s not like it would change much.
If it was a year ago I would totally agree but with the new 11.0/11.3 premiums. 11.0/11.3 actually has MM now coupled with the fact you are dodging 12.3/12.7 CAS games.
Can’t forget, if you want your AFV to meet STANAG 5 you need to cut off the TES Side armour with it the mounting plate, then weld the whole TES side to your AFV to meet STANAG 5 instead of simply mounting a brick that meets STANAG 5. Silly NATO engineering.

Well, at 11.0, it would still go into 12.0, so… still SU-25SM3, SU-39, SU-25T, Mi-28NM, Ka-52, Ka-50, A-129s, EC665s… and those are the worst CAS offenders :/
Well of course your still going to meet SM3. Im excited for when the Conditional BRs come and SM3 isn’t 12.7 in GRB.

With the exception of the better optics. Not really much advantage to the CR2 over the CR1. Anything at 10.3 will still fairly easily 1 shot you
