A couple other angles but it’s difficult to see detail in any of them

Im interested in the gunner auxiliary sight. It is bigger and looks simmilary to the driver camera.
it might get the same thermal overlay as the driver

When Challenger 3 (P) was unveiled a couple of months ago, I was worried about its looks because it looked kinda awkward xD

But it was just because it was still missing lots of things. Because this… this is the hottest tank I’ve seen in a while. Jesus… LOOK AT THAT!

I am somewhat convinced, that there is a design criteria for British vehicles just to look… good.

But for some reason they also have a criteria to keep the same hull…
I know it will not be as severe in normal usage of cr3, but that weakspot

extremely unlikely to be hit irl

I know it, but still, keeping things like driver weakspot and giant lfp (we will see how EPSOM will preform) limits its usage in scenarios where hull is exposed.

To be fair, that’s hardly a weakspot in real life hahah

Remember that, in real life, there’s no “down the barrel” aim, pixel hunting and these tanks are meant to fight from 1,000-3,000m away, not peeking around corners in a city, hahahah.

Yeah, while I think the driver viewport is hardly a weakspot, the LFP definitely is.

That being said, CR3’s LFP weakspot will be smaller, since the overlapping UFP is fitted with a stronger composition!

Yea i know that, and i know in scenario where hull down support doctrine takes place it will not be a problem. Problems will arise when the tank will be forced to move and support the ground units up close

A guy with RPG-7 hiding in window thinks differently.
Yes yes urban combat. The tank is not designed for it, but there is a chance it will be forced to take part in one.
That is where DL2 packages came in. Cr3 will have EPSOM, so it should be protected in some degree, but driver port will stay the same, unless they add a big chunk on ufp, and they will not as hatch opens outside.
