Oh my God it’s SO CUTE!
Im still looking for the front ELAWS
Seems they havent worked out a mounting solution for it, i imagine itll probably end up being on some odd little flaps or something on the turret side/roof
the smoke grenade launchers already need to be connected to the tank’s systems, i feel like mounting it near the smoke launchers would be the least intrusive
Cant wait to see some horror flaps on the turret side with the smoke launchers and LWS lol
from the looks of the turret sides they’ll still be looking at this sort of mount for the APS at least
Nah, that was just a do it quickly, so it just works. Or i hope so.
Taps increasingly violently
According to the test video released by Rafael and other vehicles with trophy systems installed, this is very likely to be the case.
People ignoring this image everytime 😂 it’s right there if they look they will see where they plan to mount them 😂
Jist hope the module is better looking then the slap dash lep one
The new BBC article on the Challenger 3 seems to have made a little oopsie regarding the speed, unless they know something we dont :)
Hmm, both are possible…
over 20mph faster would be nice but im leaning towards bad reporting
It’s almost certainly a mistake. The press release from that day on the government website never mentions speed, as you can see in this article.
The article from the British Army does mention speed but quotes 60kph, which is what we’re used to hearing.
The only instance I’ve seen where an official press release has quoted 60mph was the original release from May 2021, which was later corrected to 60kph. Most outlets didn’t change their own articles after the correction was made, and I imagine that in this case the reporter remembered the old 60mph figure and then used an article that hadn’t been corrected to make sure.
I was just having a look at the AMETEK cooling fans, does that look more like the ones fitted to the new powerpacks?
Theres another image.
kind of, but not
they do not have the slope on the inside, and the “empty ring” is not there.
Presumably the “slope” is covered because they’ve added on the part where the belt is fitted onto.
