You have no idea how many times i died due to random shrapnell detonating the charges (bring back memories when Cr2 bins were ignored by spall and still caused the detonation, not that it is a pleasant one)
Also, seriously, 3 charge sickness is still here? Cnat they fit in the bin?
I think the HESH charge is about half the explosive mass as the APFSDS charge.
Better question is why are we not allowed to use one of the primary benefits of two stage ammunition - having almost all explosive rounds/charges in the hull and storing the inert APFSDS sabots in the turret. They give us an exaggerated reload speed anyway, so they might as well simulate us getting powder out of the hull each time.
You can look up a little, i posted a pic there of hesh charge. I promise you 2 wont fit. It is the relation of a square inscribed inside a circle or very close to it.
Also the apfsds at the back of the turret no longer blow up so dont spoil the fun. You can have 28 hesh and it wont blow up
the HESH charges are similar length, but much thinner. Modelling them as cut in half is just probably GJN being lazy and not wanting to model a different shape.
Seriously? Since when rounds from 12 to 17 are stored in the basket on the bottom of the turret, not at the back as it was before. Not only the vick has no bin, but this rack moved up in priority making it even easier to kill.
