So I dug a little in my archive and found the following:
I´m not 100 percent sure about the authenticity of the MV stated however its very logical; past 1700 m/s using DU and not WHA makes less sense. On the other hand, 120mm rifled ammo is very limited in the amount of propellant, unlike Rh120 or soviet 125mm, its main propellant charge is a lot thinner (700mm tall though). Nevertheless, MV 1650 m/s makes a lot of sense for L27.
About the projectile itself I couldn´t find a good pic showing it in its entirety outside the “container”, meaning, we don´t know how the fin assembly looks like or how much space the tracer takes up.
This means that the penetrator is shorter than other comparable projectiles, we don´t know if it measures 600mm or less but certainly not more. Running LO with these figures (MV 1650 m/s,
penetrator 600x24mm) yields numbers very far below the stated “700mm” (again I assume this is including the defeated ERA, after all the tip may be of the “breakaway type” like M829A3´s).
This is exactly why i refuse to play the chally anymore, everything about them is just off, from the mobility to the armour, first stage ammo. there’s no point with a game full of better options, gaijin has done nothing to make them viable or competitive.

I’ve done the same. I was never a big fan of ground anyway but was hoping that getting to top tier would at least mean no more uptiers. But even in an 11.3 Vs 11.3s it feels like an uptier constantly. So until Britain gets even a little love in ground. I’m not bothering to even look at ground

Yes, seems about right. Only thing missing is the “anti-ERA” thingy, which is also missing from pretty much every other top tier APFSDS.
yeah i think that’s my plan. its unplayable. i get LFP one shotting i can play around that but what’s the point if theirs massive oneshot spots on the top of the turret makes gameplay horrible

If I look down at a Leo or Abrams from like 5m above it I can also pen the roof
500m+ shot to a large area that kills all crew with a sabot round. does that happen to a leo, abrams or t80?

Pretty sure it was about 8a, and 8a and 9a (well, the 9a is what 8a was supposed to be) are nearly identical. Correct me if im wrong

You have no idea how many times i died due to random shrapnell detonating the charges (bring back memories when Cr2 bins were ignored by spall and still caused the detonation, not that it is a pleasant one)
Also, seriously, 3 charge sickness is still here? Cnat they fit in the bin?
