I thought it was the same length as L27A1 but fired at a higher velocity (so in the Gaijin calculator might net a slightly better pen)
But I could be totally wrong. So dont quote me on that

L27A1 is Depleted Uranium
L28A1 is a Tungsten Alloy
what was speed again?
Flame’s bug report may have the specs you are looking for
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/bMbEJftRqiSp
But other than that. pass. Others might know though in this thread
so based on the fact it uses tungsten alloy if you have info on the speed that means penetration should’ve increased over DU technically, depends on speed and density of the tungsten too
Yep. Id love to see someone actually do the math. IRL L27A1 should be better being DU.
But in the Gaijin Calculator… who knows what the results will be
if you have the tungsten i can do the long rod calculator but if i use my lanz odermatt calculator with the average 17,500 i can get something
I dont have any figures. So maybe someone else in this thread has that data.
summon em, i need all data possible
nah bro fell dead asleep
If you need Gaijin’s rod dimensions you can go to their APFSDS spreadsheet and get them.
I just didn’t look in this thread
Im not sure but if is lighter then L27A1 it should go faster
As the Charge bad for L27A1 and L28A1 are the same
ah then 1550 meters per second
i got this correct me if im wrong in something
I think the length is wrong be we haven’t got great measurements for either L27A1 or L28A1
it was nato obliquity, lenght its 605 mm
uh, its playing dirty on me isnt it, i give up with this thing
