No other country except for Germany has thus far trialled the 130 mm. And given how long it took Britain to realise rifled guns were not the way forward, I don’t have much hope in them considering a 130 mm.
So they made a gun. They used the Cr2 to market the gun. Now the German government has expressed interest in the gun for other projects. So the country of Germany was not involved with the 130 on the Cr2 afaik
No, there was interest in the 130 mm long before the CR2 130. The CR2 130 was simply the first time it had been placed in an actual tank and not fired from a static test bench.
1)OKay, but he is still a product of BAE.
2)Of course, the CV90 in the Swedish tree can be retained, but a copy needs to be transplanted to the British tree.
On this I think it is because they are great variety for the tree, they are made by Vickers a company that has produced so many in service British tanks, planes and other weapons. On top of that all the tanks were made in the UK, with British parts with the exception of the mk7, which even then the turret is completely from scratch. I don’t see what other country would have the tanks, other than India, Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania. 3 of those I can say with 99% surety wont come to the game and India is already seemingly in the British tree.
