It means they are all exactly the same… Even though you move up in generations, in the code you get copy pasted the same tank and protections so it isn’t the improvement you are hoping for in game.

No changes, just base of chally 2 protection is leo 2a5
So CR1s are buffed, but CR2s are basically unchanged?

No, looking at the CR1 it is different. Thinner armor, with a good 30% reduction in quality.
Well that is gross. So they don’t even bother to model NATO tanks differently.
So… CR2 actually going to be semi-survivable now, or not really any different?

Will not be an upgrade in quality this update. I am seeing a lot of armor quality at 1.25 as the base number for CR2 which it always was before. The CR1 has armor qualities on a lot of things at 0.88 ish. (not exact). So you can expect the same survivability as before.

How in the hell is the STRV122 set to the armor of a Leo 2A5??? Thats gross… That should be Leo 2A7 quality armor.

My guess is they do not bother upgrading standards, just add more layers and have fun
It makes it annoying to compare, due to differend placements in different tanks

At this point, it seems more like NATO tax. But I can skip the 2F and TES, grab the black night and then farm out the other 3 in 50% of the time using it. Cant apply tax to that

Standard seem the same, so i guess we need to look at generic and cumlativa quality
All the above has been known for years now. The whole 2a5 copy paste over stuff this isn’t new

Yeah it’s old news like really old. There hasn’t been any changes to the CR2 armour. Only the CR1 from all the datamines for this update.
