Challenger 2 MBT - Technical data and Discussion (Part 1)

What we are trying to achieve here is like trying to get 1 million SL drop from the War Thunder Chests. I bet the latter has higher chances

Thats why i wanted gaijin to add t90 and i want to add indian t90MS and other russian vehicles to GB tech tree.

Honestly, it’s not like adding foreign vehicles will help. South african ground made it clear that gaijin will happily strip vehicles of just about every feature they have before giving Britain any hope of getting it (think MTTD which is missing just about everything it would have in service, has a shell several decades older than the vehicle itself, and has a straight feeding autoloader, on a 2014 vehicle, which conveniently takes the same time as an aced L7A1 to reload), and the TTD isn’t even worth mentioning in the state it’s in.

The key is to try to push for the existing vehicles to be fixed.

I was about to download the game again to check the changes. Thank you all (except the devs) for putting so much effort into the game representation of the Challenger tanks.

I will go back to just observing this thread. Maybe someday British tanks will be playable again.

Well time to chime in to echo the already abundant discontent and disappointment in this thread so far, so what’s one more voice to the choir eh?

And once again shows that Gaijin’s devs will ass pull sources to suit their narrative. I don’t think I’ve seen a group of people more dedicated to burying their heads in the sand only finally pulling said head from sand when they can’t go “LA LA LA LA LA I CAN’T HEAR YOU YOU’RE WRONG YOU’RE WRONG” anymore.

It’s honestly quite disappointing, that even with every detail nook and cranny of information gathered by the tireless efforts of people that they refuse to listen to us and will continue to just beat around the problem.

Guys I think you’re being too hard on the devs about this update, all their effort went into fixing the Churchill gun carriers armour. They couldn’t possibly have the time to also fix the challys.

We learnt that the current version of Chally is final from the RU side. Just by looking at that we can understand in what part of the world such decisions are being made, and in that particular part of the world EU toys aren’t loved that much. even in the RU Devstream they directly said that Chally will definitely have new weakness points as the DM will be more detailed. they didn’t lie at least about that…

Does anyone know why the trunnion block has a random 45 degree plate going through the middle of it?

Because stuff isn’t tested and zero care goes into it, that’s all it is really.

I would expect better quality from a 3 man indie game.

But unfortunately they did lower the belt ammunition to 3 instead of the 6, same on the warrior now as well.

I said it before, but if one side of the war somewhere in the Europe can safely tow the Challys away from the battlefield and test their armour, then publish some analysis, it might be the last chance to get the Challenger its real values.

It’s not the best, nor the prettiest way of getting it fixed, but it is a way.

Wouldnt matter and it would be nothing but a waste of good british tanks and rounds plus, Theyve ignored harder evidence before and do consistently. only way to get them to “change” their minds is through literal protest action by review bombing.

That will be a disaster, I’d rather delete my account then to see Chally in the hands of Ruzzians

The proportion of mantlets is still incorrect

what do u mean by this?

2 + 2 is 4 -1 that’s 3 quick math XD

Gaijin always says “LeTs NoT gEt poliTical”, but then they pull this crap whilst giving the t-90 another buff (on the engine if it wasn’t fast enough anyway) and there is literally no other explanation than they hate other nations apart from russia. It is literally like trying to convince a tyranical dictatorship to hand over power, it just ain’t going to happen uneless it confides with their manifesto which in gaijins case seems to be - we need to make russia strong and the west look weak. Not to mension there is an image outthere somewere of a t-80bvm getting shot and penned by 3bm42 (i will try and find it) wich according to gaijin is just impossible.

They still giving us a vow of silence on why they seem too averse to fixing their shoddy mistakes?
