The game is not capable of linking the type of projectile and its visual model on the X-ray, if there is a HESH projectile in the ammunition, then for any projectile in the ammunition it will be considered that it is a HESH projectile, and therefore it will be fired and detonated when it is damaged.
I fail to see where is says the shoulders are spaced armour rather than composite? In fact that quote doesn’t mention the CR1 armour scheme at all, apart from the hull floor pm the CR2 being one piece instead of two bits welded together like with the CR1
Could we use the clip at 9 minutes to show that there should be a reduced ammo detonation chance? If the T72/80 gets it for “wet stowage” in a completely dry carousel then surely this would be enough?
Community Bug Reporting System Ummmm yes the game can differentiate ammo types in the fighting compartment and has been able to for quite a while. @Gunjob is this something you could overturn?
I found a document about upgrading the Challenger 1 in the National Archives. It gives some interesting protection figures, particularly for the “lower glacis”.
As far as I know it doesn’t, once you mix in any shell that is HE Smoke, HESH etc etc with a Kinetic round it will make the whole rack explosive, even if its depicted as a solid shell.
