Thats the thing. What you call an average tank in other tts, here in UK it is Very Good and will have to be reballanced in a way.

Most british vehicles are overtiered and yet when someone gets a good match on them, everyone screams it’s overpowered and gets moved in BR or nerfed in someway.

Sort of like how people were demanding the tog go up like 2 br brackets because britian finially got a mid tier heavy with a good gun and they couldnt just sit in front of it.

I’m not a British hater XD. I think the TOG could easily be 5.0. The Centurion just does extremely well where it’s at because it has extremely trolly armor and a pretty solid gun. With the latest BR changes to Germany I think the Centurion should also go up slightly to kick it out of 5.0-5.3 games where it is completely broken.
While there’s people demanding that TOG goes down to 4.7.

Literally just don’t shoot the UFP. The LFP, the huge turret cheeks, the giant coaxial machine gun mount, all are easy pens for most guns around that tier at over 500m.
Even the Russian 85mm can get through the turret weakspots at point blank ranges. The Panther has equal or arguably better (slightly weaker turret, but no weak LFP with an ammo rack).
It’s just a 5.3 gun. It’s the same gun and ammo as the Challenger (Which also has a slightly better reload too). The solid shot is a straight downgrade to the Panther’s gun, and the APDS can be rather inconsistent.
The Cent is just overall very comparable to the Panther. No reason it needs to be a higher BR than it.

It is by FAR the worst centurion. You get the same gun on a firefly… or even at 5.3 BR, whereas later centurion’s have 84mm with apds…
If of all vehicles, this is your problem, i would advise to never leave your spawn because there are far more dangerous vehicles out there.

I would honestly place TOG II at 5.7 and it would be fine, anything higher than that is overkill. Basically any 76mm and above can lol pen his turret, not to mention is one of the slowest tank in-game, even slower than Maus.
Imagine having TOG II and centurion both in same BR, nice line up.
Accidentally gets TOG II at 6.0 because i was too funny.
Oh before you ask, i am using TOG II at 6.3 BR games, here’s my line up.
I would use TOG II over the Crapioteer and Peasantrion Mk.1
Germany main crying about one decent tank of the least overpowered nation when a literal Panther sits at 5.0 LMFAO

The cent mk1 is basically just a slow, slightly better armored panther with better pen and worse post-pen. Not to mention the highly unstable gun. 6.0 is fine.

You say they were dumb enough to chase you… well that might explain some of your success.
The thing is… it’s not just 1 vs 1 on the battlefield. Tiger’s 80mm side and back armour means it can survive many flank hits the centurion can not.
And the Tiger’s gun is waaaaaaay better for doing post-pen damage. Many tanks can survive one shot from the 17lbr, but hardly any tanks survive a pen from the 88.
Tiger also has 5 crew vs 4 in the Cent.

I’m an American main XD- but the fact that a Panther is at 5.0 is ridiculous I agree.
Panther is NOT 5.0. that’s the VK 3002 baby panther which has only 60mm armour on glacis and a terrible turret rotation.
Firefly gets a 17lbr at BR 4.7 and a waaaaay better turret rotation.
The “baby panther” is way faster than the firefly, has better gun depression, and has way more explosive filler than the 17lber. In many ways it is better than the Panther D. The armor does it’s job well enough. It is not comparable to the Firefly at all.

If your gonna go ahead and discount turret rotation (which is massively different 38.4 vs 9.6) then you obviously are not interested in a true discussion. You can’t cheery-pick some stats and ignore others.
Firefly has a .50 cal mg and ony has to face BR 6.0 tanks when it is not the primary tank in garage. Vk 3002 can and does meet those tanks often. The add-on armour gives the firefly better flank armour than the vk 3002.
