Case study: How LMUR helis win GRB match in 7 minutes

This is the result of another “genius” move by Gaijin. Soviet bias has always existed and will always exist in this stupid game, from small and mostly annoying stuff to this. That’s the result of the russians’ imperialistic mentality. Don’t kid yourselves, this company is “hungarian” in name only.

Nothing will change.

What will you do with the Eurocopter if you uptier?
Besides, both lmur and jagm have a very, very hard time locking on tanks from 7 km.
And it doesn’t matter that statcard says 20km

4 would be enough

Not sure, but sounds like bs

Btw its funny that now people cry about FnF missile. Just after 5 YEARS that they were introduce to the game. Just because Russia got them.

About as disingenuous as saying the Kh-38 is equivalent to a Maverick

I think this is a rather narrowminded and disingenuous thing to say. Im pretty sure noone who has issues with LMURs (me included, and i use them) has an issue with them for being on a russian helicopter or for russian nation.
This issue stems from how its been implemented, how its vastly outdoing its competition in the ability to kill a target and be on a very reliable and usable platform with LDIRCM.

The issue is both the flight and strike path, the warhead and the amount available. Sure other helicopters like AH60 or the new guardian might have 16 missiles, but those missiles are vastly less probable to oneshot what youre firing them at. LMURs dont have that issue, especially when coupled with the 20kg SAPHE warhead that leads to full overpressure.

Vast majority of all my hits were kills.
There were some that ended up only as critical hits, to be fair where you can be fair, but even then the damage done vastly outdoes damage from something like a hellfire or PARS or spikes.

JAGMs heli is the next on my grind-chopping block but i can already say that im very doubtful, from the look ive had until now that its going to even compare to LMURs.

well, LDIRMC seems to work better on 64E , and missiles are usually 2 for mbt’s and 1 for light.
Least I usually shoot 2 on mbt’s and it ends usually killing em. if missiles reach target in time before it’s run in cover/smokes or something else killed it.
but lot better compared to pars /spikes

Ill give the guardian a fair chance, but ive just finished grinding the BUK and B3A so im doing some spading there first before doing the AH64E grind.

Ive barely started on it

Also as the LDIRCM goes, it does seem to appear that on the Mi28NM its currently over-performing with the coverage also going above the heli instead of just below, so we will see if Gaijin fixes it and when.

LMAO, as soon as I mention russian mains crying, the staff immediately removes my reply, just lmao. Doesn’t change a thing. LMUR is just broken. Needs some sort of balancing update ASAP.

lol😂

1 time got killed by IRIS on 64E, and about 10 times on mi28.
It seems to work sometimes like wonders and next time everything comes trough , even spikes.
Funniest moment was when i was nearly hovering still when only aa enemy had was IRIS and looking how all missiles went by from left and right :D

But main issue is that attack angle, on laser version it comes a lot more top attack mode and in IR versions it comes more in 45 angle like spikes / pars.

But yes, those are slower compared to lmur and also lacking that 90%+ 1hit kill change

The question is why you never encounter AH64 in GRB. They’re rarely spawned, can’t even remember when I saw the last one.

Its all about the chinese and the rus top tier heli. With the latter one beeing spawned almost every single match. Using the close helipad for an endless volley - reload - volley loop. Wish the close helipad couldn’t be used for that, spamming the groundmap with an endless flood of LMURs. That really bad gamedesign.

I’ve been playing the game less and less these last few weeks. I’ve not renewed my premium account, and I’m certainly not buying anything for any reason. The state of the game is completely unacceptable at almost every rank and top tier is the most egregious.

Vote with your wallet, otherwise Gaijin don’t care.

Nah, you see them and they are just as cancerous as the Z-10 or Mi-28, whoever thought giving helicopters 16 AGMs needs to be fired. Meanwhile, Eurofighter is still being denied FnF Brimstones despite the numerous SAMs added to the game, which have made the poor little EF with is laser guided weapons obsolete in GRB.

So LDIRCM IRIS-T immunity and ARH immunity (because Gaijin can’t model PD returns from rotor blades) and 16 AGMs with unlimited resupplies is okay, but the Eurofighter can’t even get a single HOSBO or PGM mounted on its wings, the balancing is all over the place.

I had an Apache just shut the game down in 5 minutes, ofc they were untouchable by IRIS-T and SACLOS because they had the luxury of having cover to dive before the missile could reach them, can’t spawn planes because they are too expensive, there was no way to take them down, so the moment a helicopter gets itself in a good position to be uncontested the game is over.

another definitively nor russian bias fantasy weapon system RUSSIA gets while NATO have nothing remotely close to it or something to counter it… but again, no bias, just skill issue (gaijin words)

i know the culprit by the way

yes… its just 1 line…

im guessing JAGM is under the same name as Hellfire in the files?

We are literally just digits away from having realistically performing Spikes and PARS. It’s just undeniable bias, nobody but themselves can have it.

Game is on a so bad state even Smigol Time quit the game lol

Yeah no wonder why the bug reports for spikes won’t get fixed. It’s not a bug lmao.

Yep, this is blatantly intentional and a nerf to non Russian stuff.
