CAS problem

Not just that they said SPAA should get off-map spawns, but that so many ppl were agreeing with it.

They said that they don’t understand why people want it not that they wont add it.

Not that it matter but gaijin have said many times that they wont add something to later add It.

Q&A from October 8, 2020.

Doesn’t mean they can’t change their minds but reading this, their answer is basically a no as it doesn’t makes sense to them.
Other Q&A related to CAS and ground vehicles always about them planning on adding better SAM/SPAA systems to counter modern CAS and no mention of TO. Which is what we got for Leviathan update.

5 year old response though, would love for them to answer this question if their POV still the same.

Oh wow, yeah that was before i even started playing and long before the game looks like it does now. Heck even just 2 years ago the top tier planes were very different from what they are now, let alone 5 years ago.

Time for a review/rethink - maybe the views in this thread could be pointed to someone relevant - please

Also they said no supersonic aircraft nor guided munitions and…

Oh I absolutely understand the ‘other side’ here.

And from the start. all you did was pick on my stats, play circle arguments and all that nonsense… I challenge that it’s actually you and your dogpile that are the reason that this thread gets blown out and launches into abuse the SECOND they are challenged.

No, Air RB existing isn’t a reason for you to get your own mode, so come up with some other reason to convince me… How hard is that?

Is it, is it really? I don’t think so, and I think people need to settle down when they’re being confronted rather than laying into abuse the second someone is actually discussing something.

I don’t think we should be pandering to the unable.

Yea, that’s why i said, “Doesn’t mean they can’t change their minds”, as they do change their mind a lot. This one though, they seem be holding on it longer than the rest or else we would of seen TO mode a long time ago as well.

That would harm their perception of TO mode.

Supersonics and missiles = money

TO doesn’t

Why not more money??

No CAS = more interesting and less frustration = more fun = more reason to spend money.

That’s not how Warthunder’s monetization works. not to mention, a very large portion of prem sales are CAS planes.

From where you get that information?

So to talk about the player # side of it.
Don’t ground battle have almost 2.5x the number of players air battles do? Even if its a 50/50 (TO/CA) or even a 70/30 Split in players, it shouldn’t effect Combined arms matches that much except for maybe the slowest part of the day, right?

CS is the biggest PvP game in history for a reason. I guess people do love the feeling of being able to strike back, even when they’re on the back foot.

Relying on the team in WT and Squad is completely different. On any semi serious server you’ll get kicked if you don’t speak over the mic and act as a real teammate. WT is wild west in comparison.

Latter also isn’t a grinding game and all classes have predetermined loadouts, so your AT role always has AT weapon on hand.

WT has no roles at all and there’s very few prerequisites to join a game, which is really absurd considering the nature of the game.

Ahhh, the reasons why player owned servers totally suck… You seem to be ‘inadequate’ for my playstyle… kick

“You killed me UNFAIRLY!!!” kick

“You dare try tell me I can’t play the game right?” ban

(Edit - Perfectly fits to the intrepretation of skill that the players here pride themselves over… Who’s getting kicked?)

Yes if you like double standards.

It being first or not makes no difference as ARB is a dumbed down GRB when it comes to planes. You have less things to worry about when you fly and by playing ARB you’re basically escaping from one type of an enemy.

Still not seeing this is amazing.

So you don’t want vehicles and their players to have equal rights, good to know.

Squad is a serious war simulator game that actually requires people to communicate properly, what a shocker, right ?

The name of the game literally tells you what you should be doing. If you’re some mute dude that runs around like a headless chicken ignoring what’s happening around him, you’re pretty much going against the core basis of the game.

Which are perfectly usable in the dedicated air mode, air simulator battles.

Not only perfectly usable, but pleasurable given you have a feeling of long-term impact as YOU are the person who wins matches, not the air superiority fighters.

CAS is so important to winning in air SB, even I often find myself forced to go and strafe ground targets when the tickets are tight or strap a bomb to my fighter.

Not really.

Moving goalposts is what you’re doing, fawning over a game mode that hasn’t been changed in the way you want to make a new mode to suffice for inadequacies…

Looking for participation trophies because you can’t handle the game as it is…

Absolute nonsense. Total and utter non-deniable nonsense.

Just a whataboutism, but the fact you highlight private servers and how they can kick, I can highlight to you that in the same way as you erroneously base skill as KDR/Winrate related, a private server often fails when an admin decides that someone’s being unfair, or outplaying them and needs removal.

Hardly a good example.

Which game? Squad, or War Thunder? Do you need to be told to work as a team? Do you need to be told to prepare?

Obviously here you do, but you also don’t care to listen.

Maybe they just don’t ahve a mic, or it’s late at night and they can’t use the mic…
