CAS problem

This is another one of those things where your choice has come to play into it… It’s not the games fault you’re trying to avoid cost so much you’re spending days on autorepair.

So.

If you knew what you were talking about, you’d recognize the image as being related to my statement on how “GSB is somewhat more promising due to the CAS skillfloor being significant but uhm…” that preceeded it.

This is context clue as to what the image is.

Now, beyond this context clue you would realize that GSB has fixed line ups that rotate approximately once every day.

Now, based on this knowledge of how the game works and preceeding context clue, you can look at the image telling me that to be able to play the British Comet I, I must wait for the 4_1 ground sim lineup available after 3 days or the 5_1 lineup which is available in 2 days (but includes Tiger II (P)s as enemies, so playing something like a comet may be a struggle).

There is zero relevance to waiting for autorepair speeds, hence my comparison of your post to that of ChatGPT’s hallucinations - not knowing what’s happening, you still insist upon speaking and inventing things that sound proper but are irrelevant to the conversation at hand.

Now, why did I say “GSB is somewhat more promising”?

Because at WW2 prop tier brackets, the skill-floor to fly aircraft and engage in CAS filters out most CAS players and the lack of markers from hits and scouting makes it difficult even for experienced pilots to casually gun strafe your team or drop bombs on you while you’re in a low-visibility environment.

But unfortunately, refer above: if I want to drive the Comet I, I must wait for a singular rotating day of the week which may coincide with weekdays where I am busy or just not in the mood and therefore it is not a viable alternative.

Furthermore, airfield take offs fix some of the inherent issues with CAS in GRB (airspawns interrupting dogfights, time to deploy weapons from spawning in). Unfortunately, you CAN spawn cas at minute 0 and this does contradict the airfield spawn’s advantages somewhat…

It’s also not perfect as CAS still exists and very good pilots can minimize the handicap that are sim controls for precise bomb drops and strafes.

Spawning another vehicle while being in a tank is not an option and saying that someone should hide is only proving how unbalanced game is.

Not to mention team argument which again brings us to old „Why Maus is not 1.0 then if someone from an enemy team could kill it with a plane?”

We are talking about a situation when someone is already in a tank. If You want to discuss something else there is no reason to reply.

I have showed that I’m the one using the air and I can do it well.

I’m amazed that You still can’t understand it

The game would benefit greatly with a wider variety of game modes including mission types TO being a separate MM from GRB would be fine

Even if TO was added GRB would improve if they added a mechanic that let you “rtb” a vehicle so you can swap for a spaa or spg instead of abandoning it (maybe an area at spawn or even friendly capture points)

You’re dictating the terms of the scenario as you always do… They didn’t have to pick to spawn a tank, and that’s a flaw in thier choice.

Stop trying to insult me whilst deflecting the point that you make these scenarios so YOU can barricade yourself from discussion.

That is a great idea, I have even proposed it many times but as long as TO is not added, no real solution will improve the gameplay for people who just want to play tanks

No plane game mode could be nice for helicopters, since helicopter are usually part of Armies/Marines and work closer with them

Heli PvE so ass, unfun gamemode with laser beam AA and everything takes forever

Then suggest solutions to make it not ass…

Long ago there was a pretty fun helicopter realistic battles with good terrain to hide behind and jump ppl I used to play the 30mm uh1 on it that being said it definitely had balance issues

The discussion is about a person who is already in a tank. We are not talking about other scenarios.

The discussion is about a person already in a tank . Talking about being able to spawn something else at the start already is another discussion. We can have it and You might hope into my C&F topic to read what can really be done.

I’ll be honest, your argument isn’t really that enticing from a objective point of view.

To me it sounds like this:

“Oh so you want to play tanks because you enjoy tanks but you get killed by planes so you want a mode that don’t have planes? Well just play a vehicle you are not interested in (nor want to play) to get rid of the thing you didn’t want to face in the first place.”

At that point your suggesting SPAA vs planes gameplay to someone that doesn’t like that aspect of the game as if that is the solution to them wanting to play tanks. It doesn’t really make sense.

I’ll make it clear here that i personally don’t mind the planes at all and enjoy the current GRB mode (though i have some personal minor tweaks i would like, but that is off topic), my point is that i don’t think your solution is really a solution for the issue many complain about in this thread.

I’m happy that someone gets it.

My point is really similar. As I like to use both ground and air (I prefer ground in most cases). But I can understand why some people would just like to use ground and I would like to play just that from time to time.

It’s just my opinion and my argument is that they are so fixated on denying me the voice that they deride and atatck me based on nothings, make up scenarios and gatekeep everything to stop the conversation.

That’s where the issue comes to a head with ULQ because all they do is drag the argument on trying to deny everything I say, and then the dogpile comes in to rip everything up.

Any suggestion, nope… Any advice, nope… Any actual engagement is shot down by these guys because it’s not favouring them getting this prided mode that they’ve wanted for 7 years, and it’s constant.

With Silk quitting, coming back, quitting and coming back, proclaiming that the planes done it and all the rest, it’s just a round and round argument that they’ll never discuss anything whilst still saying that they do.

That is a separate issue that i have not addressed at all and will not adress either. If you have an issue with someone, take it to PM’s or if they are breaking the rules then flag it and don’t engage with it.

My take was purely on your solution to the issue many here are voice their opinions on.

They want to not have planes in a game mode, any solution that don’t take the planes away isn’t going to solve that.

Why would they need to discuss a solution that keeps the thing they want taken away? It doesn’t make any sense.

-“I don’t want [thing] in [place]”
-“You can close your eyes, put a blanket over it or paint it blue”
-“That doesn’t take [thing] away from [place], the [thing] is still there”.

See what i mean?

That’s not true.

They’re having issues with planes, and they think they need to have tank only mode, but there are MANY MANY options, none of which they want because they’re all wound up on the fact of demanding that they be removed.

Because it’s the other side of the argument.

Doesn’t mean it’s right, or needed. There are other options.

We could move the spawns for planes back, make the SP cost more, put AI AAA around the battlefield, make SPAA cheaper to spawn, with scouting ability, even add other objectives for the planes to go after.

So many options, yet they’ll tell you that ONLY removeing the planes will suffice and decry any other option as not being valid because they don’t want to try anything else other than their demand.

You’re falling into the trap of aligning with him and making his angles ‘fine’. The gatekeeping and ignoring of the suggestions, isn’t discussion…
