Bruh, your solition is literally just limiting players from enjoying the game content. If i die in a battle and i cant spawn a plane because there is a limit then i am leavning the game. That would just make ODL much worse
You literally have to get 3-4 kills right now to spawn top tier cas with FnF ATGM (around 980 sp)
I loved it when they spent this much then got instantly dropped by IRIS-T, it’s good to mock them in the chat “imagine spending that much sp and can’t get a single kill lol”

U shouldnt fight cas as a tank sometimes u will die to cas and u can do nothing about it but its ok thats the game and thats why it also costs double the sp.
one game u getting cased and one u are the cas
Same with heroes on bf2 or scorestreaks on cod and vehicles on battlefield
Recently top tier has become playable again due to new SPAAs, since I have had some good games I decided to renew premium again, I might be buying the squadron Abrams AIM since I don’t get Kh-38’d/AGM’d twice every game.

You know this just makes CAS sound even worse?
What if I don’t want to fly planes in ground RB? What if I think they are the worst mode to fly planes in?
The map is too small (barely 8x8 play area which if you leave the wrong way you get hit by airfield AAA), the match is too short (ticketbleed, 25 minute maximum), there’s airspawns (inside the battle area to boot so you can have a plane phase into reality right on top of you during a dogfight), flying with stick & rudder puts you at serious disadvantage to people using mouse aim and mouse aim flying is kinda boring and makes a few planes feel like whales due to instructor.
I love flying planes. In ASB. While GSB wouldn’t solve most of my issues, it does make flying in cockpit view with stick & rudder viable. Unfortunately, GSB is often unplayable due to lineups so I’m forced to play GRB if I want to consistently use whatever WW2 tank I feel like.
When I play ground, it’s because I wanna drive around a funny british contraption that makes you question what they were smoking, t-34, panther/tiger/stug or a sherman
That’s a really big problem in a PvP game.
I done see how(i didnt played battlefield tbh but i heard its not very diffrent from wt)
That is part of the game if a player did well it can take smt more rewarding which is a great mechanic imo
And in wt it isnt that bad cuz u have 4 nations that can deal with cas very reliably (top tier ofc)
I didnt found the map too small but i do agree the af can be moved further back
Ever heard of arb? Or just stick to sim when u can and play diffrent things when u cant i bet u dont play only specific few aircrafts only

Lets take heroes in bf2 for exmple
Any hero that play the game for more then 10 hours (and i strech) will smoke any regular trooper in a 1v1
So what the trooper player gonna cry that he died?
No he will just reaspwn and keep playing cuz he know its a hero and he spend 4k sp for it unlike the trooper which cost none and when he gonna get a hero he will smoke other troopers.

I don’t want to fly planes in ARB or GRB.
I already have a game mode for flying planes in ASB.
You justify CAS by “sometimes you fly it, sometimes the enemy does.”
OK, what if I dont wanna use CAS because the only place I can play tanks is GRB?
I consider kill-streaks and such arcadey game mechanics.
Team Fortress 2 has no kill-streaks.
Movie Battles 2 has no kill-streaks.
Planetside 2 has no kill-streaks.
CS:(variants) and Insurgency only have if you consider weapon buy, but that’s more of a multi-round gameplay thing with intentionality.
Red Orchestra 2 has no kill streaks.
Heroes & Generals didn’t have kill streaks either. You just had supplies which were limited and ever-changing with the RTS side of the game.
Hell, Dota 2 has inverse kill streaks. If someone is doing very well, taking them out gives massive rubberband rewards for the person finally shutting them down.

The chace if a trooper winninf in a 1v1 against a hero is the equivlant to try 12.7 a plane that passing by slowly

Yup, but that was in its closed and open beta phases. Planes were always planned to be added which happened almost instantly. They wanted to test the tanks first before doing so.

Nice try however we both know it isnt the case cuz we need balance between nations and it doesnt make any sanse that one nation is strong and one is dont(equivlant of one team has stronger troopers or weapons)
More so when the game should be the the closest it can to be realistic and israel mbt and top tier in general is a joke

Neither CoD nor Battlefield even remotely approach my mind as ‘good’ games.
For some whose tastes align - certainly, but I see mechanics in WT being compared to either a significant black mark against those mechanics.
CAS as it is is far easier to use than it would be in real life due to mouse aim controls, lack of wind and ease of aiming in third person. Even comparing CAS between GRB and GSB is night and day at prop tiers, much less CAS between GRB and Il2:GB or DCS or real life (biggest thing missing from real life is the fact that you really dont wanna die. Just spraying tracers into the air was often enough to completely ruin dive bombers attacking tank columns during the allied assault of normandy because they were too scared to approach from proper angles and the bombs went wide and nobody died).
I wouldn’t mind prop tier CAS in GSB as a consequence, if I could play it whenever I want with whatever tanks I could. Unfortunately, I can’t.
Tank gameplay itself is basically the same between GRB and GSB bar a super minor aiming change so my hopes of getting to drive around tigers, T-34s, panthers, KVs, ISes, wacky british things and shermans falls almost solely onto GRB because looking at GSB lineups…
If I want to drive around the sherman firefly, I need to wait 4 days to not be facing tigers IIs, 3 days if I’m fine with facing Tiger IIs.
What about Tiger E?

Because there’s a yak-9k/UT clicking on tanks with zero effort.
Because there’s an F4U-4, F4U-4B flying around nuking whatever looks tasty. In fact, there’s even Hellcats doing the same since American fighter-bombers are incredibly good with bomb-loads worthy of twin-engine heavy fighters and attacks or even frontline bombers of other nations while possessing incredible flight performance that lets them get in and out of the battlefield before SPAA can even intercept them.

I can’t play GRB either.
The only game mode that remains remotely playable & accessible is ASB (edit: brain slipped and wrote GSB first) and that annoys me incredibly because I want to be able to enjoy my tanks.
Then none will get the kill it doesnt matter in a few moments there will be an spaa or other plane that will force them to leave u alone
