CAS problem

Wow, one video where you got lucky. Now allow me to pull up the thousands of videos of Pe-8s nuking the map, P-51s carpet bombing, Su-30 and Su-34s smashing Kh-38s from spawn, the F-16s in the stratosphere launching AGM 65s, and more.

Ahh yes, Su-30 and Su-34, the CAS hater excuse for blanket nerfing all CAS. For every Pe-8 that gets one or two kills on a cap point, there’s 10 shot down before they drop.

Wanna know why I have a single 4 kill Chaparral game? Cause 9.0 SPAA is so hilariously overpowered that seeing more than one or two planes spawn a game is about as common as a sentient Tiger 1 player.

You seriously think the Imp is OP? My goodness, how terrible are you? You got lucky once. Is the L3 OP because it gets God Mode? Or the M22? Or BT-5? SPAAs are not some OP thing, they can barely take out planes as it is. Planes just need to fly high, drop bombs, and pull back up and they are fine.

Also:

If SPAAs are so powerful and CAS isn’t, why are there more ground vehicles destroyed by air than air destroyed by ground. READ. THE. NUMBERS.

Out of curiosity:
Where are those numbers from?
Are they all BR’s?
What timeframe?
What game modes?
Do air include helicopters or just planes?

Lmao

Are the over powered 9.0 SPAA in the room with us? I have no issues dodging 9.0 SPAA or even 10.0 SPAA. My experience with 9.0 SPAA comes from the absolutely horrendous Rapier. However, my experience fighting SPAA? The SPAA that kills me the most are the M247 because I can never see it firing because its HE-VT has no tracers, and the Tunguska. I rarely die to Stingers because a couple flares and they stop.
10.0 SPAA OP? Not at all. I can comfortably fly my Harrier in 10.3 strafing targets/bombing targets and popping flares to stave off any IR missiles, only the Strela is a real threat and that’s also defeatable, I mostly die to 2S38s and Begleitpanzers.
The only SPAA before the new ones I feared was the Pantsir, and even then I had no issues because I fly CAP most of the time anyways since Britain doesn’t have a single usable SPAA past 8.3. And therein comes my problem, at 11.7 it costs me about as much SP to spawn in my Tornado F.3 which has a full Air-to-air loadout as it does to spawn in a Tornado GR.4 with a full bomb load. Might be a difference of like 20 SP but that’s negligible. Why is that? Its my most effective method of dealing with CAS and preventing CAS monkeys from getting ordnance onto the field, but it costs as much as CAS, it shouldn’t, CAP should be cheaper than CAS.

I don’t care for the defense you put up for CAS, there is no defense of it and I will not entertain a discussion that’s about defending it.

Those numbers are historical data from 2017–predating helicopters and modern BRs as we know them.

I’m not sure why anyone is trotting that old data out here as if it applies to the current day, but I’m sure @2112SLM will come out to litigate the matter soon.

Cool 👍

Thanks for letting us all know that you’re simply too biased and too bad at Warthunder to have any proper discussion with, so that we dont have to waste our time with you.

It depends, at top tier it’s both.

For the SLM and CLAWS it’s mostly just Gaijin’s map design, but for example the Spyder is just Generally horrible against 12.3-13.0 CAS.

Only 1 of the new AA missiles can reach 25km lol.

aim120c 7 have long range, i ever got killed in range 20km+
i hope their give rest nation good AA because we got mix nation so maybe 1 nation can got more than 1 diferent high tier AA from other nation in their tech tree

Eh after 12.5 km the missile is already below Mach 1, so the enemy plane has to be absolutely braindead to not dodge a C-7 beyond 15km. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your pov, most players aren’t very good/smart.

Also it takes the missile so long to get to that range the plane has all the time to launch everything and turn around before the missile is anywhere close.

Honestly just making the Spyder actually good and further buff the CS/SA5 would already be a good start.

Lemme hold up a mirror for you to look at.

What’s a mirror going to do? I always cited the 2017 data to discuss 2017…which is wholly legitimate. Of course you use 2017 data to discuss 2017 matters, that’s how commentary works…contemporary information! (Still, you objected to that and cried foul complaining about the ‘confusion’ of others who cannot read well.)

Here we have someone plainly claiming that 2017 data applies to 2025…and you have no objections. You keep fixating on me for whatever reason.

Your critique has been wholly selective with a clear double standard as it succumbs to bias. I had figured as much before…and now you’ve just confirmed it: good job. I can safely dismiss it on that basis.

When (if) you get serious about the 2025 data use, we can take up what I said again. Until then, I can laugh it off.

Edit: False flaggers are very desperate to hide this, lol. Gaijin needs to ban false flagging trolls

Just spawn a tank, bro.

You need to get some better data (and one-liners), lol

Citing 2017 data for 2025 doesn’t help anyone and those who false-flagged my posts are just embarrassing.

Says the one famous for flagging everyone

Wrong again, lol! That fake claim was made up by forum trolls who flagged their own posts to portray themselves as victims.

I don’t stoop to false flagging (that’s beneath me), I only flag rule breaking/off-topic posts as proper users do. Anything else?

Sure sure, you totally don’t mass flag arguments. I know a few guys that you’ve mass reported, but that’s behind us now. Instead of crying about SPAAs, just get good and spawn a tank, bro.
