Only thing you proved is that you are biased towards CAS because you never truly played SPAA.
I played SPAA, it can be seen in my record (probably more than You did) and I have played against it. I just noticed that SPAA is not effective and switched to the air.
Now I provide evidence that air is unbalanced and all things that I say. You just talk and talk without any evidence (or knowledge about the game) ;).

As said USA at 4.0 can work just fine withour air…
Anything works “just fine”, that’s a non-statement and an opinion. It is a FACT it is much worse without their air to make up for lack of TD’s and Heavy tanks.
and top tier france + italy is known to lack tanks, not planes. They need to add tanks to them which are competetive against other nations.
You yourself acknowledge that their tanks are not up to par and that their air is, which is exactly my argument. Saying that Gaijin just needs to add tanks is essentially an admission that reality as it is now supports my argument and you are looking for a way to brush it under the rug.
Here’s the OP again since you might have missed it.
If you increase the SP cost, players who don’t perform very well will get fewer chances to play CAS and the people who are already getting it regularly will not care. Most CAS is not getting insane K/D performance versus the tanks the same player is using in the same lineups. Nerf low/no-skill CAS like the PE-8/Lancaster/JU87 where people spam it by abusing the low BR SP discount or ridiculously huge bombs a monkey could get a double kill with. Also make reserve tier vehicles generate no SP when played at BR 2.0 or higher. Other than that, without data demonstrating the average player is getting an amazing deal out of their CAS spawns versus their ground spawns, the topic is still dead. EDIT: It might also bear mentioning that a lot of lineups in the game become horrible without their plane/heli options, so is there going to be a whole BR ranking for this game type and do you trust snail god to get it right?

Are we just going to ignore the numerous CAS nerfs over the years? Bombs have been nerfed hard since the Sturmtiger update. I’ve had bombs as big as FAB-500 get lodged into tanks and still only destroy tracks and barrel.
Half the battles now have thick fog and clouds making spotting targets from a safe distance nearly impossible.
Not to mention how the higher you go in BR, CAS has to fight drastically more modern and capable SPAA.

And I use 100kg bombs to destroy heavy tanks, HVAR rockets to destroy churchills, KVs, Tigers and Panthers.
Not to mention the addition of overpressure mechanic.

You have played with a grand total of 8 SPAAs, and a single one has a (barely) positive K/D against planes. You also have only 215 battles with them in total. You don’t have very much experience either.
Oh, the irony.
ULQ has more battles in a single SPAA, than you have in all of them COMBINED!
At that BR, only France, USSR, and Britain has heavy tanks. USA has the M10, which is one of the best TDs at that BR.
You also do not need TDs, nor heavies. You have 3 Shermans (and even the BR 3.3 one is completly fine with your 4.0 lineup, even at full uptier), and an M24. There is also the M10.
