Tell us more… I´m aware of many, many CAS-players that are really low-skill. But what to do about it?

What kind of a nerf do you think would be the most reasonable for cas?
I don’t want it to be nerfed. No nerfs will change the fact that air is and will be dominating the ground.
What needs to be done, is addition of new gamemode for just ground units. By doing it, all people who would like to just play ground units, would play it in the mode and current combined mode would balance themself out as all people left would play air.

People have been asking a ground only mode for years to no avail, so i don’t think that would have any realistic chances of happening unlike some type of nerf
Especially when same people will come and tell that this mode is not needed and no one should be asking for it.

It depend on BR because I will throw another pantsir if I can shoot the CAS down but in lower br is not worth throwing backup for no reason.

Which literally means nothing, as i could only destroy them after they have dropped all their payloads. I could not prevent my teammates from getting killed by CAS.
He plays it, and has more matches in a single SPAA than you do collectively.
Here it is. 20/6 is actually 3.3repeating, so it is not 4.
Also, just look at the win rates with my SPAAs. Literally the worst winrates compared to the rest.

No. Despite the lead indicators, SPAA is still utterly useless in AB. Most of my deaths in that 3 SPAA was either to tanks, and fighters. And fighters in AB have no markers for tanks.
Isn’t it funny, that @Vianochka uses a single stat from my statcard that is in no way representative of the whole situation?
There is just too much sale from premium skycancer. Also, a big portion of the playerbase literally needs CAS to have a chance of getting a ground kill. It is literally in, to keep trash players in the game by giving them something that they can get kills with, without having to learn to play in any way.

Being unable to shoot down an aircraft flying in a straight line at 13km with a Pantsir that has a range of 20km and a search radar definitely is a player issue.
He could lock him at 25km, pre-fire at 22km and then hit him at something around 19km.

As you go up in BR, both SPAA and aircraft become easier to play. Are they equal? No. Should there be complete parity? I’m not so sure, but we also have access to fighters when SPAA is coming up short. If you’re not including both in your line-up that’s a personal issue.
To add, there’s more imbalances alone between tanks than there is between spaa and cas. Additionally, CAS has been over-nerfed already when the only thing that should’ve been done was spawn cost adjustment. Removing CAS entirely won’t fix the worsening map design, spawn camping, or the complete nullifying of SPAA’s ability to contribute as a result - The TO crowd has never been able to answer any of those questions, by the way.
I’m not great with gun SPAA, either. However, I won’t get better if I don’t use it, and for when I run full line-ups I include fighters and spaa. Having all the tools available is key and anyone purposefully kneecapping themselves is simply a fool.

And no one was able to provide any example of changes that would need to be implemented with addition of TO.
- Tanks are balanced against other tanks, not planes
- There is no spot on the map that requires planes
- SPAA would still be able to be used in combined mode
People like You will come and tell that TO can’t be implemented because changes would need to be made. Reality is that no changes are needed as said previously, GF RBs mode already has battles of pure tank vs tank fights and there is no issue with it. Then about maps and needing planes for certain spots, it is only because You refuse to use tools You already have and resort to use an overpowered mechanic such as planes in order to win.
The only logical reason people don’t want TO to be added is that most people who don’t want to play or are bad with the air will leave for it, so the competition will be stronger thus game will be harder and their easy game will go away.

Do you really think GJN is balancing the game using KD ratios? Nevermind KD ratios from individual players?

NOPE! I’m here because CAS in Ground AB is extremely nerfed, and very tolerable (still not good, but not that big of a deal, at least below like 6.3). So I play AB.
I’m working in an office across the street that just has the thermostat pretty high but is not on fire. I’d LIKE to do some consulting across the street, though, it would expand my career and skills, and make more money. I’d LIKE to play Ground RB sometimes. But I can’t, because it’s on fire.
Oh well, I’ll keep playing in AB in the meantime (Like 80% of ground players do, mostly probably for this exact reason)

No, fantasy part of the analogy. There is no effective counterplay to CAS in at least 80% of ground vehicles in the game.
I never said that the office chair you want to sit in has any firefighting abilities.

Which is a problem. You’re in violation of code. AKA good game design.
Note that “counterplay” does not necessarily include killing the guy / putting out the fire. It can also include ESCAPING or evading reliably if I’m skilled.
Keeping CAS in, but removing the literally magical ability to scry the location of a guy who just killed you (magic spell known as “kill cam”), would largely address this as an alternative to ground only mode, though.
