For atleast the past month, I noticed that I can’t chat in custom lobbies. I’ve seen other people chatting, but I cannot interact with the chat box. I never received any messages about being chat banned or anything of that nature, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Any ideas what triggers this?

Me neither, I don’t know if it’s because I play on VR or what …
Just noticed last night there was one custom lobby where I could chat. Then the next mach I created under the same conditions, didn’t allow me to chat.
I feel this is Chat, needing to be fixed.
I actually wanted for years for chat to actually be fixed and brought back to it’s original capabilities compared to the imposed restrictive one we have now.
Has anyone figured this out? I’ve always had this exact issue for as long as I can remember, but I can still see other people’s messages
It’s not VR - as I can chat in VR, however, more often than not, I cannot chat in the pre-game(or post-game) lobby. But it’s not every game, just most of them.
