The Canadair Sabre Mk. 6 carried 9Bs
NATO countries allowing you to purchase and use equipment. It also helped serve as a defense force so Canada never really had to fill a major gap in military assistance, as they could always rely on the US and GB and France if it really came to it. It’s still somewhat like that.
On a side note so no one makes the accusations here. To be clear; Canada is, and should be, an independent nation in the real world. I do not view it as a 51st state or some stupid thing like that.

I mean, making your nation the standard equipment for the allies does that.
As for the LAVs, thankfully, bar the LAV-I, which uses a British turret, most models are used by more than 1 Commonwealth nation. Which is a far better claim than half the budget being military.

They also imported things from said allies, Yet don’t have any of it.
They built the turrets and parts for over a thousand Churchils, Including buying several compleat ones, Yet don’t have them.

Thing is the US don’t need the Canadians in their MAIN tree like the Skink only reason was due to gaijins habit of “We made this model so it better earn it’s pay”. Look at the Mossies for that example even though it would be cool if the Israelis got theirs too cough cough.

Canada in the US tree mean that an enormous part of Canadian would leave the game and it mean less money
