This says everything about your worldview. As long as something Canada or another homeless nation built is under add under differnt flag in-game already, becomes C&P, it’s no longer a domestic vehicle/domestic variant to the nation that built it.
A domestic design isn’t unique because Japan can also get it, despite the CL-41-G and CL-41-G Tuban being slighly differnt aircraft. Both variants of the CT-144 Tutor.

Canada being added in the UK is the less worst option
Sadly, I had a discussion last time on British tank idea for the future and they refused Canada because we are apparently too much copy past

If you think thats the only thing they share with another tree then i have news for you.
Since the beginning the US ground tree has been just the beta test tree for everyone else.
They have practically nothing unique left at ranks 2-3, Just 1 AA and 3 M6’s.
Its already the most split up tree, Even more than the Soviets and Germans.
If you are so bothered at the thought of a vehicle from your country going to a nation that frequently uses your vehicles (Largest LAV family user) then you should have a problem with all of that too.
