I honestly think that Canada shouldn’t be subtree of US…
It would be best if they becomes Independent Tech tree
(Sole-Canadian would be best, but if it can’t, United Commonwealth might not be a bad idea, since it seems Gaijin has no interest to give UK more sub-trees than worthless India/South Africa)
(TMI: Gaijin gave only one aeroplane from South Africa since the introduction of the SA Sub-tree on UK in the Ixwa Strike in 2021. JAS39C SAAF. I expect no more additions from Gaijin to us.)
If Gaijin has no plan to give an independent Canadian tech-tree at all, I think the UK should be the homeland.
Years of Historical ties support this.
Still, I think adding them to US isn’t the worst option,
The worst option is adding each vehicle separately to many nations, which currently does.
-C2A1/Leopard 2A4CAN to Germany
-Ram II/Skink/Naval ships to UK
-Stuart VI to US.
Then Canadian playerbase cannot form their own military deck thanks to Gaijin’s greediness.

Canada won’t have its own tree. How many domestically designed and produced tanks do you have? Planes?
Where it sits now is pretty much where it doomed to be. Forever a filler. Leos to Germany, Cents to GB, Shermans save the Fireflues to US. CF-104/F-86s to US, Hurricanes and Mossies to GB. The only unique vehicle is the CF-100 Canucks, aside from maybe the CT-114 which would go to Japan through Malaysia who operated it as a ground attack aircraft.
It makes no sense for an independent Canadian tree. They don’t have enough. Especially not enough that’s super unique. Instead, put out Canadian vehicles in the country they belong (C2A1 to Germany, RAM to US and GB). And call it a day. Because that’s what’s been said is going to be done for now
Edit; it sucks your nation is in shambles and I’m sorry. But the consequence of both being a part of a commonwealth and then very soon after leaving joining a treaty organization that takes care of you very well is that as a nation domestic development lacks and often you get what’s been pawned off to you, making it a difficult argument to say you should be on your own when you don’t really have anything huge that makes you unique
I made that not them, and they forgot to include everything my comment had. I always round down, as I had just put stars only on stuff in-game at the time. Been thinking of a proper one with all potential C&P, but would need to look into who built what.

Really I’d just like the Canadian Sabres with the upgraded Orenda engines and access to Aim-9s. They’re great fun and very good to play as I have them in the German tech tree. But it’s not a huge deal. I’m more making a point about where things would go if Gaijin decided they HAD to be put in game. Although I guess for the Mk. 5 and Mk. 6 it would just be considered “already in game” via Germany.
They don’t need any of the Canadair aircraft. pointless over their options, often being worse/they can get themselves. The only thing it adds is unobtainium event vehicles, which is a spit in the face. Not only do you have limited time to get them if you missed you’d have to fork over hundreds of dollars.
Heck, the Sabre Mk 4/Sabre F.4 was built for the UK. Or CL-13Mk 4, as WT calls it, under the Canadair production name, it’s still dumb that a name never used on exports is in-game.
