what happaned to players that had the ussr t-34? Were they able to keep it or was it removed from their lineup completely?
They were able to keep it, quite a rare vehicle to see now
Ya, I’ve grinded out the US LAVs for being Canadian-built. I was more or less pokeing at a few things.
The misinformation that the M4A5 name spread, and the no operator rule that would fall under.
I see, since the 2a4m is a premium vehicle, I wonder if Gaijin will do the same thing.
Possibly
Premium vehicles are hidden in the original nation they where added to and then added to the new tree, as seen the Swedish centurion that was once in the UK tree.
Nevermind wot is worst =~=
Welcome back
Honestly, I want to put in some good time to flesh out the roster. My goal is to take a suggested Canadian Ground Forces tree, and fully flesh it out with suggestions for each vehicle - with complete technical data for each.
I have my own mock-up of a tree that I will post soon™, but for now it’s about suggesting each component bit. I lean on a lot of the export equipment - Saudi MODA Piranhas plus SANG LAV IIs and LAV 700s, Ukrainian Senator Gsh-23 C-UAS, and perhaps a couple oddity LAVs the Canadians developed and Americans trialed.
Additionally, include the total overhead to implement each tree - how many new models, modifications of existing models/combinations, or simply re-skins. I want to make it as easy as possible logistically for Gaining to take this information and action it.
Even if this delusional hope and petty nationalism will probably result in nothing
All these nice photos showing up after I sent in the suggestion for the M113A2 TUA to be reviewed and hopefully approved…
idk man, feels like britain+
Related to this, I think now is precisely the right time to look at Canada as a new tree. The Army is currently undergoing a massive expansion, with military expenditure reaching 2% of GDP this year, and on track to rise. Some major projects include:
Heavy Direct Fires Modernization (HDFM) - UOR for 50 new tanks in 2030 for the Latvia Brigade, more to follow
Medium Cavalry - UOR for 50 new IFVs in 2030 for the Latvia Brigade, more to follow
Armoured Combat Vehicle (Wheeled) - 2300-5080 LAVs fitted as IFVs
LUV COTS - 700 armoured light utility vehicles
LUV MOTS - 2200 air transportable light utility vehicles including a ‘Command and Reconnaissance’ variant
AD-UOR - However many Cambli Blackwolf MSHORADs we ended up getting
Various GBAD programs - C-UAS, anti-ballistic missile, etc projects
IFM - However many self-propelled 155mm howitzers we end up getting, looking like it’s either the K9 or the LAV 10x10 Artillery (LAV 6.0 with 10 wheels, and RCH 155 module)
If Gaijin wanted some juicy top-tier additions that can run up the price, this looks like the country and time to do it.
you have a point brother
but adding Canada as a whole tech tree? ehh, should be part of Britain for sure, but like, nation folders, im sure you’re aware, that would fix it
I don’t believe in “nation folders” really. There’s no precedent for it. I also just want more stuff to play with, not less.
I won’t deny that I have a pro-Canadian bias, but making “nation folders” for nations that can support full trees is a total waste of material
okay then how are you going to respond to the people who suddenly want south korea, poland, czechosloviakia, turkey, Brazil, of which they all produce alot of armored vehicles to have a significant tech tree
With a simple “why not?”
If they can reasonably support a tree from 1.0 to 12.7 while bringing a good chunk of interesting equipment, sure!
If Gaijin sees economic value from it, greater than the cost - let’s do it
