Is it possible to barrel roll their missiles with enough speed?
This all aspect bullshit in sub 11.0 BR is going to make me pull my damn hair out, youre in the middle of a fight, and a nerdy, greasy child shows up, hits a button, and youre returned to the hangar, WHY is this a thing?
A-10s are slow, and the AIM-9L can’t hit a target past 2 kilometers from the average height and speed of an A-10. All you need to do is get behind them and gun them. You dictate the fight when you’re that much faster all the time.
I evaded a few batch of AIM-9L fired from an A-10A when I had enough speed.
But I recommend you not take a risk.
Don’t ever try to get close to those nasty SOBs until those bastards run out of missiles if you don’t have countermeasures. :/

They are problematic to get proper balancing. too sluggish for giving further nerf, but annoying enough to fight against.
Both playing it and playing against it in ARB are annoying.
As a joke with 0% honest, I think they shouldn’t have come out at the beginning at all.

Maybe because of personal hatred about both A-10 and Su-25 caused by some bad-talking players which claims ‘just tap flare noob’ while they even knew that I don’t have any CM at all, and talk like that intended.
is baiting the missile viable? like taking an agressive line and reversing your roll mid flight to confuse the sensor? Or is it too fast for you to react sub 2km?

long answer: yes if you have a lotta speed and pull and the A10 chooses a horrible launch angle

Nah, I don’t think it will work. You will bleed your speed, and the missile will usually go to catch you.
You need to keep supersonic, and their launch angle should be bad.
Just try not to get close within 2km until someone else enters first and gets killed by them

i mean i dont really want to bait my teammates into feeding those things for free, im making this post in part because ive seen A10’s clean out a part of the map and snowballing a few games, by the time you get there the deed is done, kind of annoying.
you can use rockets as sort of countermeasures. doesnt work great but still something. against front aspect shots by 9L and 60M vs my F-4C it did help
