Can we stop throwing bones to air abusers in ground realistic?

So just a rant of yours, I understand now.

Just so you know: Ground RB is not the most popular mode. Try not to continue with your misinformation and maybe these threads can become productive.

I need to set up some test loadouts for the Gr7. It can take 3 different sizes of GBUs. and 2 different sizes of unguided bombs. Its possible that 1000lb gbu = 1000lb unguided bomb. and a 500lb guided bomb is less but is the same cost as a unguided 500lb bomb.

This is actually a really interesting problem that I think needs a deep-dive and a dedicated suggestion post for actually. Its quite a major balancing problem in my opinion

Now that I think about, I believe the system is just based on your “most advanced” suspended weapon.

Ex: 1000kg bomb is +200, 500kg bomb is +100, and guided missile is +350.

Load out1: 4 2000kg and 2 agm is +350
Load out2: 2agm is +350
Load out3: 6 2000kg and 4 agm is +350

In any case, they need a full overhaul of it.

If you want to reduce it to just a rant, then im happy you arnt part of any production team. CAS, whether YOU want to believe it or not, is a real problem. Multiple solutions, including from me are given. Its not my fault the wealth of “troll spam nay sayers” are covering up such solutions.

I do confess, my lack of playing airplanes as a conviction does make my information on plane sp workings lacking. But there are plenty here like the post above me who does know about it, and are as convinced it needs change. Im simply observing the effects as a ground player.

Airplanes can be used too early in the game, for too little effort. As i repeated multiple times, and im sure people like you with short term memory loss needs this to be told many times over, that is my issue. Cas can stay, that is fine. They have their use. But they need to be rebalanced.

My purpose is to keep it more grounded. Thankyou for a much clearer and grounded reply.

As a War Thunder player I was, when not mainly tanking, spending a good section playing CAP to deny enemy CAS.

Cannon CAS, as your example, is a difficult balance. The specific vehicle is only strong if left alone and relatively easy to stop to avoid it becoming truly “OP”. Hence the question of SP. This is compounded by the enemy being 5.7 when you are 6.3 (in context of the plane used) and so will be at the low end of SP requirement. But I assume you are not needing that part explained just wanted to put more detail to your situation.

So far: 20% death from CAS in a casual 24 total games. Can do more but I really don’t enjoy playing Germany or other nations as I do with Japan. Slowly getting used to this slow Dicker Max though and learning it playstyle lol
CAS death 4
Tank death: 20

Idk how unlucky one can keep getting bombed/strafed 50% of the time x.x probably the playstyle that gets exposed to CAS so easily. I’ll continue updating this as I go on.

AB has waves and planes more obvious. Probably makes it feel “more”.

Can’t die to CAS when you already killed by enemy tanks bro

That is why many people tend to 1DL.

@CoffeeBean100 You can see people statments about that in topic regarding 1DL ;)

Dont worry, I didn’t put “many” into the right context. Already edited 👍

It’s one of the reasons why, there’s more reasons to ODL than just cuz CAS. They rage quit and cry, some go to the forums and complain here.

Have I said that it is the only reason?

I made the same mistake on interpretation. But as you say, people 1DL for many more reasons.

Ahh, no. My bad.

Anywho, really digging the improved game mode for A and B zones. Only played it once but whoever get 64 kills first wins or whoever captures the zone 1st wins?

Yep.

Made me laugh that gaijin is proving me right with making this game more about kills

Isn’t every game like that though along with teamwork?

No because kills can be farmed when “losing”.

But as gaijin have said, they are ultimate way to win a game ;)

Ahh, yea, true true

Yep, looks like they have gone full “narrow map” and glad I ran when I did.

Temptation to return is very much quashed. Best of luck with the Worse Thunder.
