Basically, yeah.
Sadly, whenever this is brought up, we get told either

A: “just dont play them” aka- we want more imbalance for tanks and dont care if some have zero use in a game mode.

B: “they can just not allow them in TO” aka- give gaijin the green light to ban vehicles from certain gamemodes. Ex: ban maus from ground rb because “balancing is hard”

For cas sp, they really need to further itemize sp costs. No reason 2 paveways should cost the same as 6.

i dont think it matters the game is 12 years old it will probably be shut down before it gets to be fun again

You can still find some fun. I enjoy some lower tier stuff. A couple high tier lineups are also fun. I just have to stop myself from getting into the “i must grind to X vehicle” mindset.

Yeah, I totally agree. SP costs need a ground up overhaul. Im actually working on this with someone else currently.

But the fact that 2x Hellfire costs the same as 16x Hellfires on a heli to me is insane. and the fact that that heli costs less than a pure A2A CAP. Is insane.

You also have things like Unguided 1000lbs bombs costing the exact same as a guided 1000lb bomb

So for something like the Tornado Gr1 I’d have something like this:

Tornado Gr1 with only AAMs = 200 SP
Tornado Gr1 with 1-6 unguided bombs = 450 SP
Tornado Gr1 7-12 unguded bombs = 550 SP
Tornado Gr1 with 1-2 GBUs = 675 SP
Tornado Gr1 with 3-4 GBUs = 750 SP
Tornado Gr1 with 1-4 PGM-500s = 850 SP
Tornado Gr1 with 1-3 PGM-2000s = 925 SP

That would make the PGM-500s cost about the same as what PGM-2000s do currently, and make the PGM-2000s more expensive.

2x GBUs would cost about the same as they do currently, but 4 would actually cost more. and unguided bombs would cost significantly less. I need to fine tune this further and figure out a “per weapon” SP cost. but quantity should definetly impact SP cost just as much as weapon type.

funny thing they get rid of that tank but put heatfs in everything

i think at 7.0 or so its basically 20 foot battles every game where you basically can pen anything the higher the br the more its the case

no more slug matches without having to go way down the br line and that can get old quick RIP t54 vs maus battles

This here is why my little brother cant do well in WT lol He complains and whines a lot. It recently became a revelation to him that this mindset is what made him not enjoy the game. Now hes out there playing Israel and Germany getting 10 kills which is something he wasn’t able to do before. Along with me actually coaching him next to him.

Theres quite some imbalance in the game:
On an average i can fix my tank in 20 seconds.
Damaged barrel? 1 min.
Dmaged tracks? 20 to 55 sec.

I wont do it for ground, I have my reasons for not enjoying lower BRs of ground. But I have been recently going back and enjoying aircraft in ASB that I had previously skipped or hated when grinding in ARB.

as much as i love the modern stuff i think thats what ruined the game honestly hard to balance stuff like that considering armor defeating munitions far out paced armor

not to mention aircraft munitions and capabilities 2015/16 war thunder was better

Okay, so i went through my replays, but not all of them. Whenever i counted 50% death to CAS in both the Max and Emil i stopped, since it already proves my point.

Dicker Max: 14 deaths, at least 8 death to CAS: at least 57% death to CAS.
Sturer Emil: 25 deaths, 15 to CAS, at least 60% death to CAS.

Again, at least, because many of the matches were left out, since it already proves my point.

Also it is worth noting, thatthere have been a significant amount of revenge CAS, and spawn camping, so that’s it for the “CAS prevents spawncamping” BS.

Not again this nonsense.
All maps would work in TO. Many people camp especially because of CAS. Whenever there is no, or little to no CAS, you can move much more freely, since you do not have to worry about someone just clicking you out from the sky while you can’t do anything.

And that is why CAS is too strong.

Camping rarely gets you win, most oftem it makes you lose the game.

Which is very often done by CAS.

Also, the Maus is not hard to kill, nor is hard to use.

man i was one tank from unlocking the maus to grind now i hear its like November when you can

plus it aint always hit that left cheek first

Yeah, just put in any amount of RP in it, and you will be able to grind it anytime after it.

Which happens to any other tank.

Its not though, if you are letting your enemy team bomb you into oblivion. Then your team is failing to adapt and counter.

Just takes 1 or 2 to control the map and cover the rest of the team capturing bases. I used CAS to nail a guy camping behind the enemy team’s spawn point which then allowed our team to cap 2/3 of bases which we previously couldnt because of that 1 guy camping. Giving us the win. 1 CAS + 1 kill allowed for a win.

Rarely i find. more often its a tank or 3. Usually I find im using CAS to clear out our spawn of spawn campers than actually doing anything else. I think my record was 10 kills in a heli, just killing tanks sat IN our spawn point.

again small maps why can you sit in spawn and camp/snipe half the map
