I tend to avoid WT on a Sunday. I find its really not fun then, Everyone is just using the “meta” stuff and its really boring in anything but the meta stuff. But the rest of the week is usually fine

Because I could quite easily say anyone who want TO only wants TO because they are too much of a noob to fly a plane properly or ever use SPAA correctly and its a skill issue that they need a TO gamemode because they arent good enough for the combined arms gamemode.

for the maps currently cas is cancer either AI AAA needs to be added or remove them for GRB and do what AGB did no one ever complained from what i recall in AGB when planes were activated
id prefer gaijin reworked the whole game mode for both ab and rb hell we thought those maps and game modes were means for testing anyway back in the day and we would get more engaging maps/matches later especially when they release the post ww2/ cold war tanks
Well, time for me to play some Germany and see for myself. Will have to grind my way there 1st which im not far. Dicker Max is my next one to research.

I play air and naval FAR more than ground. Ground is my least played and least enjoyed gamemode. I have now actually gotten to top tier (so no more uptiers) and into tanks that I have a personal interest in. My stats will only improve as I learn the maps, tanks, etc. Not too mention the MASSIVE Chally 2 buffs that are due this year, starting in the next major update.
I just checked, you have almsot 0 experience in any aircraft past about rank 4 in AB, not really played anything higher than rank 2 in RB. You have barely played GRB at any BR and only played up to rank 6 in AGB. And yet lecture me on my performance.

I have every single British aircraft researched and I have played many of them. In fact I spent the better part of 2023 playing “CAS” in ASB. I have far more experience than you to comment on how good or bad CAS is.
I have also completed the naval and heli trees as well.
I am currently farming for the Britains top tier MBT. I have played most BRs fairly well and have a good sense of what CAS is like from both the perspective of being hit by it, and flying it and flying it in air modes.

Polls on the forum are entirely irrelevant and biased. People rarely come onto the forums because they liked something. Usually they come on to complain or to advocate for change. Meaning most of those in the ground forum. Especially those that would show any interest in a CAS poll. Are likely those that want to see CAS removed. Those that like CAS, especially those who dont come onto the forums at all. Will not vote. Unless there is a GAIJIN run vote. Which could reach people beyond the forums. Any and all evidence from those polls should be taken with a grain of salt. and not be considered diffinitive evidence.
If you cannot understand this flaw, then there is not really much point discussing this further.
How? I dont understand the logic in this at all. In fact, players having good stats despite CAS clearly show that CAS is not a problem at all. Because anyone with enough skill isnt affected by CAS, or knows how to counter it.

I’m sorry but what??? Wirbelwind does a fine Job killing planes and i was uptiered to a 6.7 Br in my 5.7 line up…why are people suffering with this SPAA ToT Germany hella lucky to have this…im stuck with a Dual Cannon spaa with slow fire rate (So-Ki) and whirbelwind being 4x cannon and faster fire rate…i took them down much faster than other SPAAs i used…
1st game too, got unlucky with my 1st death.
tbf those aint helis and jets 3-5 miles away i find those to be hella annoying when they can guide in a agm

actually what era of CAS is the complaint directed towards? all of it or a specific era? cuz 7.0 br and under is meh the early jets can pull a fast one sometimes
5.7 range is where the complains are at and top tier where global CAS happens of 20km which no SAM exist yet to counter, only jets.
You have just stumbled upon the BIGGEST problem with these CAS threads.
CAS varys so much from BR to BR and from Nation to Nation.
No 2 encounters are the same. Just because CAS in 1 situation is OP, doesnt mean its OP in all situations. Nor is all CAS made equal.
in fact CAS is used to describe any kind of ground pound. Despite there being a dozen different types of “CAS” in War Thunder
That is my main issue with it. The topic itself has some fundamental flaws.
In my opinion, the only CAS, outside of a few niche cases, like the mega bombs on the Pe-8 and Lancaster. that is even remotely unbalanced, is the guided weapons at top tier and even then. I dont think it is always actually OP or even that good. and at times, not really even their fault. (Like unguided weapons costing the same as guided ones, why ever use the unguided ones which are worse)
