Well, to be honest, you’ve got that straight up wrong…
I think you need to validate yourself to be honest.
You guys are actually being ignorant, and circlejerking yourselves bcause it’s obvious that you’re all just backpatting yourselves thinking that it was such a sick burn to dismiss someone who is confident in actually conversing, compared to you guys merely dogpiling.
EXACTLY. So I didn’t say that. I hope you never practice law. Any unfortunate soul to be represented by you will have secondhand embarrassment listening to you.
@VenomThanos Just give it up already… You’ve shown yourself as only trying to rile and be a dismissive prick about the sentiment shown here… (You couldn’t even admit it yourself when you were hit up last week, so that should actually say something)
We’re not bad people for playing the game and getting people… No matter how much paint you can slather over everything.
Doesn’t mean I was backing up the entire statement though, as per your want to make out that liking each others post isn’t a factor in showing that you share their want to make a dismissal.
And it always is about how much of an asshole a CAS player is, after all, look at the goddamn topic… It’s negative whinge all the time with ALL of these threads.
It does make me sad thinking about just how many literal… weeks? months? …of time certain people around this forum have spent reposting exactly the same things over and over and over and over in all these endless threads.
Alright let’s go back a little bit. You say that machine guns can still pen the roof of tanks at those BRs I’ve mentioned, however the plane would need to make a steep angle of attack, which puts them in more than enough danger to SPAA w radar/irst guns. queue the I don’t want to play SPAA comments in ground mode. That sounds like my teammates who spawn tanks w/o consideration for looking if anybody else on their team has spawned AA yet, after they and half their team got wiped by CAS. WT was a plane game first, which means that when ground forces were added, it would’ve left almost their entire player base from playing a certain game mode: GRB. Correct me if I’m wrong but haven’t ground battles always featured planes? That decision to include planes is a pretty logical one business-wise, doesn’t mean it will always remain however. Back to the point: my main gripe is that SP is supposed to be based upon a system where the more expensive items should be the ones that destroy tanks, in a ground battles game mode, while equipment used to counter that should be much cheaper for the reason it can’t destroy ground vehicles as well, similar to SPAA’s.
CAS helis with ATGM shouldn’t cost more than a fighter jet with CAP, since that fighter only has one weapon for A/G: guns.
The hit marker and muzzle flash are probably the biggest offenders for how easily CAS spots ground units, maybe remove the teammate’s nametags and also the hit marker then you drastically reduce the likelihood of the ground unit getting strafed, if you applied these rules to CAP then it will encourage them to take on enemy air units instead of ground, wouldn’t mind that if they still insisting that no TO, but then I wouldn’t wanna imagine what’s the quality of life for slow bombers lol
All those radar and irst spaa… Soo many. Yes they exist, but on BR 2-3 a P-36G can penetrate a Pz IV roof easily with it’s 50cal. That’s a br below 8.0… so it should fit your argument. Care to tell me which radar spaa is going to stop that P-36?
Also the steep angle is no argument. Since we are talking RB and and the ange doesn’t complicate things.
I meant BRs => 8, greater than or equal to 8, my apologies. That being said I would still believe my point about steep angles of attack being viable for strafing while being put into the crosshairs of radar/irst spaa.
