Can we have a plane based Fuel, Convergence and Bomb Fuse settings already?

it was your lack of understanding causing you not recognizing custom settings in an environment with global(default settings) being OPTIONAL, I just didn’t use “optional” word. I am sick of adjusting these settings in all of my planes because Gaijin can not develop a plane-specific settings for these values.

If I am on PE-8, I want my bomb to go off immediately on contact, if I am on strike plane, better to have 1.5/2 seconds fuse.

Some guns are really fast and 500+ meter convergence makes sense, some guns are really slow and converge should be set up at 400 meter maximum, for all the cases. Then, why is this easy to implement QoL change not implemented in 2024? Why are these settings global for all planes?

Thanks for the gaslighting, but no. This is not being dramatic, this is an expected QoL in 2024, from a game with 10+ years of lifetime, with multiple plane classes and guns and bombs etc. With my system, you need to only set these settings once and forget. With current settings, you need to remember to change values every time. Not everyone waits in hangar for a long session of the same plane. I switch planes quickly to break boredom. But these global settings are almost always useless and time consuming to click multiple times, with the mental cost of remembering them before each plane switch.

If a player changes convergence of me 262 with potato throwers 300 meters, it should stay like that for all sessions of that plane since it is clearly wanted by user. It doesn’t interfere with global settings being default.

Clearly, we have different ideas of how a 2024 game should be. When you dismiss something as “I don’t need it in my current gameplay, so it is unnecessary”, your point is invalid. Have a nice day.

I got my answer, though indirectly, that it is indeed that difficult for you to click a few times before spawning. Maybe if you ask Gaijin nicely, they’ll add the penetration/drop indicator to RB so you don’t have to use so much mental energy remembering the weakspots on all the vehicles or penetration values of your own ammunition.

With your system, a replacement for the current system. So your system would be a change. Didn’t mention an optional change. Just that your system would replace the current settings.

If it saves ammo loadouts for each tanks, I don’t see why we shouldn’t have presets saved for each plane.

Why you attacking him? I play with planes with 35 minutes of min fuel, then I switch to a plane with 20 minutes of minimum fuel and WT give me 35 minutes. If a sistem like the one @AdamSmithSonian is proposing would be implemented, it would be more intuitive. The fuel settings would stick to 1 plane only, the fuse timer would be different between attackers and bombers, near convergence for potato trowers and far one for lazer guns. He is not asking for “simplified” Realistic Battles, he is asking for not joining a match without thinking too much (sometimes it happens) and not being screwd by the global settings. You don’t want to use them? Free to leave it like that and don’t use them!

Amen brother. This game could use a lot of Quality of Life changes that doesn’t affect these “veteran” types(back in my day, we had to rekeybind at the start of each battle). You need to suffer through unnecessary configuration for each different pane manually, if you want to be real pilot…

the only thing i think they should add is a bomb fuze specific for the different bombtypes. so dumb bombs and guided bombs should have a different fuze

I agree. It is especially a problem with low TNT load guided bombs. You think it will one shot but see that bomb bounces off the tank-of it has a fuze, suddenly it turns from one-shot to only tracks damage.
