Can we add a way to punish the AA players that are not active and just sit in spawn the entire game? useless aa players

Sadly that is basically the only way to properly provide aa.

Reactive spaa spawns mean that cas is already dealing damage to your team. Proactive spaa spawns are the only way to try to prevent any damage from being dealt via cas.

Oh they indeed should. So f111f can reach 8-10km altitude over tank map and rack 8 kills before somebody spawns aa.

We’re doing our job, and that job means providing air cover, which can only be done by waiting for air targets.

Going to the front and get killed there does not help complete the job.

I often wonder if the people complaining about ‘useless SPAA’ are the same that lament the power of CAS… ;-)

I think there is a high degree of deterrence at work too, if they see a couple of scout drones get vaporized they are less likely to spend the big SP to bring in a loaded to bear CAS plane.
And personally I prefer the SPAA players that are not doing anything until a plane shows up, then they kill it, to the ones so busy killing tanks they die to the plane.

I lean more towards “useless spaa teammates” because they often find the way to fail their job. Like seriously how can you fumble up in adats against premium su39 not even looking at you and farming your teammates?

I doubt anyone cares. Maybe if they have inferior strike aircraft. If I see aa in killfeed I just know what kh58 band should I choose on su25t.

F111f will still climb to 5km and spam stuff from above. 8-10 km just gives you more time for that. And point is not in the altitude. Point is that your team wont have aa until its needed. And only way to know that is to see 8 of your teammates die in killfeed. In 1 moment.

Its on topic, spawning spaa deters cas from being too powerful, so if responding with sarcasm because of people who suddenly have an issye with us spaa players doing that this entire topic happens to be “off topic”

Maybe, and a lot of players are probably not paying any attention to the kill feed anyway, but I have noticed a distinct lack of CAS when I shoot down some drones at the start of the match, but that could just be coincidence or they cant afford it after their drone is gone.
