I have mixed feelings for MMW seekers ngl

MITL will be very situational as it requires direct line of sight between Aircraft and missile. Also nato will also get MITL… not only russia

  • MMW is a whole new beast compared to MITL

We dont know what ammunitions will get this, as mentioned in the post they mentioned some but added “and some others”

and conveniently the LMUR will benefit the most due to flying higher, and getting a better view of the battlefield

because it lofts like other heli missiles should

it will have a better view of the battlefield and have LoS to the launch heli for more of its flight

The US has 5? MITL weapons in game, GBU-53, GBU-15, AGM-84, AGM-130 and AGM-62 ERDL (idk about IR JAGM), 2 of which are confirmed to get it, more than russia afaik

  • you can also manually loft your AGM´s, yes its a little more effort than LMURS but possible

@genises1o my issue is more of LMUR getting this indirect buff cuz its a very strong heli already and no AA can consistently counter it (except pantsir & pantsir-smsv ofc) and mmW radar is “too OP”

mmW in its best and probably most realistic state would probably be OP tbf, but since its gajin it would most likely be fine, only issue that i see is amount of the weapons carried at a time

its a direct buff not indirect

its contemporary missiles (JAGM, BA11, CK502) are not getting this or at least werent mentioned, despite the heli with LMUR already preforming significantly better than the helis with those missiles

I would rather see a higher loft angle for the JAGM than MMW. with the higher loft angle, you bypass a lot of visual clutter (trees, bushes, etc), which will massively improve the JAGM maintaining lock of the target.

An IOG buff will also be cool too.

Also I highly doubt, we’ll see MMW until Russia gets an AGM (for helicopters) that’s also MMW because apparently, in order for NATO to get something useful, Russia also needs to get something useful.

But if Russia gets something useful, and NATO doesn’t, it’s because they haven’t made it or some shi
