Is this by design? I was taking out the TU-95 for a spin and got missiled, and I found that you can’t fire countermeasures whilst in gunner sight. This is incredibly annoying as it leaves you vulnerable to enemy gunfire, or if you try to shoot down enemy planes you are vulnerable to their missiles. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Turn on Periodic Countermeasures before you go to gunner - easy fix :)

You can actually turn periodic countermeasures on and off even in gunner view. Oddly enough, the B-52 can release countermeasures while in gunner view just fine.
hey buddy maybe i want to fire fucking countermasures in the gunner sight myself instead of using periodic countermeasures which dont work in the tu95. Instead of actually fixing the bug yeah lets just brush over it and let gaijin fuck us over. I get shot down so many times because i cant flare when im gunning, or i cant gun when im flaring. the tu95 has about 30 bugs and this is one of many, i want to fire the countermeasures myself so i can control the volume and timings. this shouldent be a fucking question to fix it or not even if there is another option to release countermeasures
