Have you followed the guidelines for making suggestions ( Rules, Guidelines & Tips For Creating Suggestions (Check Before Creating A New Suggestion!) )?
It’s also a good idea to look at other suggestion posts of the same type to get an idea on how they should be structured.

From what I’m aware the Finnish gnat is still not suggested so if you are able to find enough info, you might be able to get it passed.
(Also note that it takes a while to pass, I still have one waiting for over 2 months).
Also don’t worry about making mistakes, I threw suggestions that literally had one source multiple times thinking it’s enough .

That’s a quite some time, if it has been more than 2 months i would send a suggestion moderator a message to ask about it. Though depending on how many suggestions they are sent it can take them quite a while to get to them. You can find all the teams and the areas they handle listed here: (Who is who and Reporting Procedure). If you don’t get an answer within a few days you can add more moderators from the list to the original message instead of sending a new message (that way you preserve the date of the message and it doesn’t look like a new request), adding one or two moderators to the message every 2-3 days or so until you get an answer.
Please do not to add the seniors until you have tried all other regular moderators, the Seniors likely won’t answer unless they are added and pinged by the regular moderators but if you’ve tried them all then you can add the seniors.

I did, I asked if there was any issues and was simply told that it’s in a que for review and barring the history being basic, the suggestion should be eligible (I.e the sources, images and specifications are all good and the history could still be passible). I kinda just accepted it’s gonna take longer.
