They do - but more unintended.
On certain maps ai planes are unable to find ground ai targets - so the 6 ai planes fly as a group in circles. From time to time both ai plane groups (blue and red) fly inthe same area. When they got in gun range of the enemy ai groups the Bf 110 and Il-2 gunners shoot at each other. Rare, but it happens…saw this last time a few days ago 😂
