By any chance CTWV RCV can be moved to 9.0?

With the most recent addition to the Japanese ground tree we have a chance to play with the CTWV, it’s a unique vehicle but it’s far to be good.

  • Doesn’t have missiles,
  • Doesn’t have good fire rate,
  • Poorly maneuverable, it’s a 8x8 in the end of the day,
  • Sits at 9.7

I don’t really care if it has a bad auto cannon, neither absent of missiles or bad maneuverability, but the BR kills the vehicle, 9.7 is way too high for a vehicle that purely rely on the mobility that is useless as Gaijin keeps forcing urban to Stalingrad house by house combat and a terrible logic for wheeled vehicles, they don’t feel fast neither reliable, just bad,

The main question, as the title suggests: Why CTWV RCV is 9.7 and is there a chance for moving it down to 9.0 where is the nearest possible for a full lineup, there you find Type 89, Type 87 RCV, Type 74 (E) and (F), Type 87 SPAA, which are all good vehicles. 9.3 there’s only 4 vehicles, 9.7 there’s only 2, without counting the CTWV RCV itself.

And if you just search for “CRWV RCV gameplays” on YouTube you’ll findout how worthless it really is. And guess what, I’ve saw people prebuying it. I really can’t imagine the bad times those got into.

Its 9.7 because its a remote turret with irst. Gaijin would have to change the BR of the CV9030 which is 9.3 and has a cre controlled turret. Worse turret rotation and no irst. Its why the VBCI changed from being the same BR as the 9030 when they both keft 9.0 because gaijin remived that god awful stock belt they had.

Gaijin has tried to balance these 30mm ifvs from 9.x-10.x based on what theybhave over each other. Again vilkas has the same 30mm and a spike launcher at 10.3, its not a good vehicle since spikes are pretty bad and the 30mm bushmaster does little to no damage when penetrating. IMO all of them could honestly go down 1.0 BR and see how they do. I think it would help them a lot considering there are a few more lightly armored targets around 8.x and early 9.x

A 30mm bushmaster with that big of a chassis at that br isnt really good especially when jp dont even have a proper line up there. Also they nerf one of the biggest feature of the damn thing, the mast. I want to scout the entire enemy team from spawn damnit.

It’s not a remote turret though, but ye I agree. ICV is the one that has the optionally manned turret that is normally just used remotely.

My bad, regardless the 30mm ifvs generally seem much too high of a BR imo for the firerate and damge thwy possess. IMO ill take my 9.0 RCV over any of the 30mm ifvs just because fire rate is more important.

After playing it for a little I can get the job done at 9.7 doing what it was made for, not really able to gun and run well with how much of a chonk it is. but I think 9.0 would be a little low for it, 9.3 would be nice to have it at seeing as the only nice trait’s are the 30mm that’s not great nor bad and the camera that makes you feel like your playing border patrol sim. I know I can’t fight fight like other IFVS or APC’s but for just staying back and pointing out enemy’s for you squad mate or team its great at that hands down.

I’m not a mod or dev but I’ll think about moving the BR down

No, it’s superior to the 9.0 auto lights, the lowest I can see it going is 9.3 at the maximum, even then it would be strong compared to the other auto lights there.

Which other auto lights are 9.3, most tend to be 9.0 (i dont remember every vehicle off the top of my head.) Tbf most 30mm ifvs are just inferior to 9.0 and even some lower BR tanks just because imo rpm is much more important past 80mm pen.
