The SPYDER shouldn’t be the worst SPAA; it should be one of the best. Gaijin has intentionally not bug-fixed its missiles and has given it the lowest range missile possible. The SPYDER’s four AESA radars are modelled as a spinning radar that ghosts constantly, and it can be overpressured by hitting the radar while others can’t. The SPYDER was an example, but I can also go deeper. The Tan-SAM Kai and Elde 98 are also completely worthless compared to the BUK. We’re repeating the Pantsir issue over again.
The entire point of adding better SPAA was to ensure everyone has an equal ability to clear the skies, unlike before, and also to ensure everyone can clear the skies to begin with.
I was an advocate for adding the BUK, but giving the Russians ANOTHER super weapon that doesn’t exist is outrageous. The BUK should be using the real BUK’s missile, not this fake one.
Russia once again has the best CAS and SPAA in the game for no reason. If that isn’t bias, I don’t know what is.

The positive im talking about is that russias potential additions to top tier are getting thin while the other trees have plenty to go, they are getting more modern stuff, because thats literally the only competetive thing they can get

Pantsir wasn’t an issue it was boogieman for people who claims existance of bias.
I still see that you don’t have issue with other AA systems that better than SPYDER or Tan-SAM or Elde 98.

And here we have it, folks. The SPAA that came into the game with almost double the effective range of everything else, multi-tracking capabilities, the best SPAA radar, and more, with no equivalent for two years, is definitely not bias.
When better SPAA finally comes to the game, Russia and China gain access to new DIRCM technology that renders all IR and TV-guided missiles incapable of hitting them. Furthermore, Russia is now receiving a range increase for the KH38, making it the best SPAA again, as well as F&F weapons for their IR and invulnerable helicopter.
There’s this thing called Balance, which should exist. Russia might have a low win rate right now, but this is too much.
Sure, they’re great, but they aren’t able to do what the BUK can. Not to mention the IRIS-T SLM systems can’t even engage the Russian or Chinese helicopters at all due to the implementation of DIRCM systems.
What are you even talking about? The ARH missile the BUK has isn’t real. It’s fictional.

I’m quite sure TV weapons are unaffected by the Laser DIRCM.
They are affected.
For more than 1 year now, the effective range of the Pantsir has been 12 km

Not even close. The Radar can be overwhelming, but it is leagues above what other original 12.0 SPAA get access to. I made sure that I played them to verify this.

So let’s talk about BUK and about helicopters, Pantsir, AGMs and whatnot ?

The radar has its issues when rapidly chaffed, but those issues are vastly mitigated by the insane missile performance you have up to around 12 kilometers. Other old SPAA, like the ADATS, ITO, FlaRakRad, and such, don’t have that.
The Pantsir isn’t OP by any means now, but it was for nearly 2 years. Nothing else came close.
