Buk-M3: Branching Out

Newer tanks are better, they have superior gun handling, optics as a bare minimum.
This is why I cannot abide with well it’s the same because it isn’t.

T-90M in game is the 2020 model with the Relikt skirts and the 4S24 ERA bags.
2S38 hasn’t even been accepted out of trials yet is in game. LMUR has been in service for 6 months added to the game.

Service date matters not for fire power or penetration but for optics, gun handling and systems the tank may have be it APS, LWS etc.

CR3 is a disaster and that is down to modelling the thing and not the actual performance.
In no world should a 2010 M1, CR2 or Leopard be facing a 2018/2020 T-90M

Every one got better than SPYDER i don’t see you have issue with that.

Seems to be everything is fake and soviet tech tree should stop existing because someones superiority complex.

I mean, the Soviet Union did collapse. Pretty big historical event.

It’s sort of wild when you think about it. If Gaijin’s balancing is to be deemed the standard here, its 80s and 90s tech versus post 2010s.

Better argument for the Patriot to come this update. It went into service in 1981. And the PAC 2 was 1991. So that fits perfectly with the balancing here.

So as Imperial Japan, Second and Third Reich, Third and Fourth French Republics and British Empire but as always following the triplestandarts, you have no problem with that

Challengers simply aren’t competitive tanks, even in real life. Current best M1s and Leopards will always beat a Challenger in performance.

2A7 and SEP both have good thermals and great gun handling, just like the 90M. None have APS and LWS is straight up niche at best at 12.0.

I don’t see your point.

No reason why not if they perform the same.
Fixating on year of introduction instead of overall performance is genuinely weird.

Seems like you’re upset this game wants to preserve some balancing.

See the positive side my man. The Russian tree is almost at the end of viable vehicles to add at the top while the others have plenty of things to add

How’s that a positive for the game ?

Ukraine war says otherwise, Challengers proved to be quite effective and survivable at war enviroment. Not to mention longest kill record still belongs to Challenger 1.

Actually T90M has better handling than SEP and SEP has much worse armor layout than 90M.

Straight up untrue.

In that case KH38 should never suppose to introduce alongside with BVM and 90M.

I never said it was positive for the game

What exactly is positive that Russia once again has the best unit, by a large margin? Seems the effective engagement range of that BUK thing ist like three fold in comparison to what we have ingame right now.

How can one faction in this game always end up that much on top? Where are the Patriots?

Also whats the point now to even spawn air vs. this these multispawn BUKs? They’re not only better in a technical way, also the game mechanic doubles their efficiency, since the two launch vehicles won’t despawn when the radar gets smacked. its like WOW … not even the next league…its utter domination of the skies.

See only Russia can get such system but Patriot? Too op comrade.

are u sure LMUR has only been is service for 6 months ? cus there are combat footage from much much earlier ?

It entered the service 2015-2016 iirc.

6 Months is an exageration granted but it has barely been in use. It saw no use in the Syrian conflict and only in the last 12 or so months have we seen it being used by Russian helicopters.

In every piece of that footage I am yet to see a FnF vehicle track mode, but in game it’s FnF and tracks a moving target perfectly.

JAGM-MR is much more modern , its not even in service iirc.

i have a footage from 2023 where it was used in combat from its max range (15km). (even older footage exists)

Well JAGM had to be added because of the massive backlash of even considering mmW seekers.
AGM-114L should have been in game at the same time as Vikhrs but no that would break the game.
and maybe it would have, but now with SAMS that have 16 missiles I don’t think mmW or a version of it would break the game.

There are multiple videos, Mi-28 at first and more recently Ka-52m
It exists it just doesn’t work like it does in game similar to the Kh-38 Gaijin use a generic IR seeker and do not look at the nuances of the systems.

MITL would make it much more op. imagine flying at 20m or less and u just fly it straight to spaa cus a drone/teamate marked it for you. iirc BVVD said they will add MITL to war thunder once they add mbt with aps to every tt.
