Bug Report Process

What is the process for Bug Reports to be implemented? I don’t understand.

I’m asking this because I see a ton of bug reports like Leo 2A4M missing spall liners, Abrams missing armor plates, Bradley M3A3 incorrect commander rocket guidance, Hellfire issues and a ton more, some of them are accepted and over 2 years old.

All these reports have more than enough proof, what’s the holdup?

I got a couple that have been sitting for 2 years myself.

Default controls conflict when using a plane, and shift/ctrl with direction keys locking you to ‘straight’ flight.

Squadron list resorts every action you do in the list, makes it super hard to actually administer your squadron.

It seems like they have some priority, working on the most serious ones first, but since they roll out updates so often, the little ones are never fixed. Over 3 month old bug reports should jump up in priority, not to mention more than a year old ones…

Yep, they should hit a few months and be highlighted.

Myself, I have trouble with the issue tracker anyway as it isn’t as intuitive as it should be.

If you need to escalate them, you can push through the technical mods via the Who to contact thread

it took them 2+ years for them to simply fix the type 10’s tracks after me causing an issue

at this point if its 1+ year’s you can guarantee its most likely never gunna get fixed

Whether or not Gaijin fixes a bug depends entirely on their mood, especially for player reports submitted in the issue tracker. They usually only address them if the topic gains significant traction. Remember the mantlet issue with the Patton tank? Players even mailed them a real physical piece of the tank’s armor, and only then did they fix the bug .

Just checked my imgur. 22/03/2018 and I have about a dozen around that time (& some even earlier) that remain unfixed. Despite being accepted.
