Anyone else notice gatewidth IRCCM feels kinda better after patch? Could just be luck but I’ve gotten some insane R-73 kills where it should’ve been flared. I’ve also been on the receiving end getting hit by PL-5E2s even though I’m sufficiently flaring at distance.
I don’t see any changes to irccm though so this is probably just consecutively getting lucky
F-15 starts flaring when R-73 is 2.7km away.

I mean most F15C MSIPs received the AESA rather than PD, but it just have to be for now.

F4 flaring when ET was 2.9km. Idk maybe it was like this before I just never realized.

ET usually don’t drop the target in presence of flares if the said target is in AB. I do not have the video proof but I’ve seen my ETs keep tracking some F-15s from 5-10 km away while they were dropping chaff&flare to decoy incoming ARH missiles in notch position. This was before the patch.

Also a video, but yes generally the radar track and the confirmation from UA that they lost a MiG 29.
You can’t expect them to have footage of a kill from 100km away…
