British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Yeha, probably

Ah yes just like the IRIAF in the first nuclear escalation lol

maybe they can even add un-grinded vehicles to the market for money.

Don’t forget Su-25BM R-73

With the hit rate I was getting with them even a few is dangerous haha. Plus I can see it now, if they added a few we’d be banging at the door for the rest, so I get it.

In ARB, ASB and NE. I dont see why there is need for any restriction on A2G loadout.

The only reason to limit them is where it directly affects PvP and in this that is only GRB.

My experience with them on the GR4 (in GRB) is that they arent that good because the maps are way too small for them.

Giving the GR1 even a reduced ALARM count would at least allow Britain to have a single TT 11.7 CAS aircraft to use with our 11.7 ground line-up, as we have nothing at 11.0 or 11.3 in ground. Which then brings it onto parity with the Ret8 or Su-39

2-5 ALARMs would not be unbalanced.

And even then, there are ways to balance them in maximum counts in GRB

Casual Plug

We’re banging on the door for any at the moment, and they have no issue ignoring us. Likewise for BOL fixes, Extra Phimat pods, Seagles on the SHar, Ready rack fixes for the CR2, etc etc.

Laughable because its F-5E that dominates this handily

The Bucc is pretty good in NE.

The Martels are good at hitting the little boats.

The SEagles are good too and seem to be able to be able to actually hit the boats.

But you get absolutely nothing in the way of rewards for hitting the ships. Hopefully they change that soon and they end up being valuable targets to hit.

Yeah… found that too, took out every single naval target bar the carriers, and walked away with almost nothing.

Still would like some tweaks to the Seagles / ASMs in general though.

Whilst they do routinely impact, where they impact can sometimes result in little damage, impact points need to be adjusted or certain points prioritised better.

Damage is a little inconsistant, decent, but inconsistant. There are possible buffs for Seagles in this regard such as:

I think naval AI need to repair a lot slower, or maybe not even repair some damage at all. So a single hit that wouldnt sink because they repaired, might now kill, or at the very least, a destroyed turret, stays destroyed for the next sortie.

Carriers need an overhaul though on how they take damage from ASMs, because its very limited currently.

I found them be be alright against the destroyers, max it took me was 3 of them to sink one. It’s against the carriers that I found they do absolutely no damage to.

Yeah, its the destroyers im kinda referring too. If it impacts the front, it usually 1hks, if it hits the back it does almost nothing.

Same missile, same ship, wildly different damage. Doubling up increases the changes of the missiles hitting different points and that almost always kills.

But yeah, carriers are just dumb, you can sink them with a single 500lb GBU to the turrets, but a dozen ASMs dont really do anything

Maybe one day they’ll add a new CAS for Britain at 11.7, whether it’s XZ631, ZA354, or the Harrier GR.5A.Most likely we’ll get nothing at all. The matter will continue to be put on hold and remain unplanned and under no consideration.

In the new NE the jaguar gr1 is OP with its aim9Gs almost all of the jets are flare less. It’s practically 2 free kills and I love it

I would say with an option of 5 alarm (3 being the belly mounted ones) the gr.1 could be put at 11.7 in ground. This wouldnt really effect its br as the ground lineup is all 11.7 anyway and it would also give it some arm capability that are not completely useless for the br. The as 37 are nice but trying to use it against a 2s6 is like grating my fingers.

I like the gr.4 but ive found that 90% of the time i would rather be in my f18 with harms as they hit alot quicker and can be fired alot closer allowing some use cases against smsv’s rather than bothering with the alarm which will all inevitably get intercepted.

Maybe if not the gr.1, the hawks could see them as i dont think having 4 alarms at 11.3 on a sub sonic would be awful as they are not the hardest to shoot down and it would also replace any agm you could bring on them.

Tried that, kept getting dumpster by f5s and f8s… I may just be bad with the jag but it still feels like a bus without any ordinance on. Kinda wish i had got the jag is now because magic 2s would have been real nice rn.

I’m playing the 9.7 one,there are two br brackets 8.7-9.7 and 10.0-10.0

Engagement is unreliable with 25 at best having tested in the mode for a bit, yanks are not threatened at low altitude adequately to climb enough for sound launches. I am rapidly leaning toward the bracket being defined this way to give yanks easy wins.

Especially with how little effect on target weapons that aren’t heavy bombs seem to have, and the platforms that carry large amounts of heavy bombs being cut out by .3 br aside from a particular tree.

Only done a short 30 mins ISH so far today, but they seemed to be getting plenty of kills

Some souls did climb and made themselves viable targets, but majority didn’t. Scored kills when that happened, but when it didn’t basically become unfeasible to use the mig 25 over anything else, though you can still secure kills (provided you effectively sacrifice every advantage you should hold with the 25 to suffer all the disadvantages).

Scored more with su 17 though.

Not sure what version you are playing I get A-10s, MiG 23s, F-5s and 21s all have flares.

Actually think Britains lineup is really sad in the new event not s single supersonic airframe no FGR-2 no Tornado GR.1 sure I take my Lightning but that is about it.
Meanwhile Russia have 23s and 21 USA have F-111s, F-4C and F-5s
