British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

It’s not even really more effort than ARM with the goats needed to be sacrificed to get the ARM to track something other than a friendly. In nuclear mode, spice also has a far lower interception rate.

I do wonder if, owing to the emergence of large long range drones as a weapon, they’ll give GCAP a cannon as a “cheap anti-drone weapon”.

i hope so

Either that, or develop a mini-ASRAAM type weapon that can be mounted in large quantity.

if it gets the option for external stations it could get APKWS II

that would be cool to see

That was kinda my thought, same kind of weapon, but internally mountable

If it has F-22 style side bays that are big enough it could pop out 7 round pods

Anyone know why sky sabre detonates if search radar is taken out, yet the launchers themselves have a sight view with thermals?

Because the launchers are unable to work independently

But the convention they outlined was if the thing could conduct actions against the foe without the search array it would not be taken out as soon as the search system’s gone? And this report seems to say that it meets the convention they’re wanting?

like i said

And that would be the Britian tax

Was hoping it would prove usable, which it kinda does. Was happy to finally have our abrams, only to discover another misery 😿

Yep…

Britian does not have a top tier line-up. Its 1x MBT and 1x Heli and thats about it.

On the bright side; doing this to Americans is very funny
