British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Im mostly thinking Air Sim and not necessarily the current ARB, Though radar installations (that dont really do anything other than give a target for ARMs) I dont see as being unreasonable for the current ARB maps.

Whilst the Nuclear Thunder map was much much larger, only a small portion was really used, so a handful of SAM sites, wouldnt be that big of a deal in ASB. Especially if marked on the map

Ah you meant just radar and nothing else. Well I mean, sure, but that would get boring fast because nothing is coming your way. It’s more fun when there’s danger, no?

In Air Sim, there should definetly be SAMs. But in ARB… I think it would be a bit too messy until such time that we get a more thorough PvE overhaul

Nuclear Thunder sucked a bit imo, because of the sheer density of the SAMs (and their overtuned nature). As well as the fairly fast respawns.

Yes. The map has been practically divided into no-fly zones. One of the ways to eliminate these no-fly zones is by using nuclear bombs. Conventional methods are extremely inefficient, but Gaijin has increased the nuclear bomb score.

The problem is that whatever gets past the IRIS-T or the Tor ends up being intercepted by the Gepards. I suspect that out of a salvo of 9 ALARMs, not a single one would make it to the airfield.

Do we know if Britain is getting any new vehicles in this next update?

I did see a leak list a few weeks ago that had a British Aussie M1A2 on it - But I find it hard to believe

Washington B.1 and Welkin, maybe more to turn up

That leak list also had a NZ Abrams. NZ hasn’t had an MBT since like the 60s or 70s.

Its a good question. 0 hint to what or even if we are getting anything for naval or ground this major from the Teaser

I’d forgot about those two entirely, mainly because the Washington will be DOA

and what the bloody hell is Welkin

Imagine Whirlwind, with longer wings, More ammo for its hispanos, and Merlins instead of peregrines

Does this mean we can use the Washington in place of the B-29 as our nuke bomber?

Made a report for the Sea eagle radar ranging issue

I dont think the Washington ever carried nukes.

Is that not the point we got them? To fill a capability gap?

Not in regard to nukes I think. Just to replace the Lincoln until the Canberra entered service

Yeah, we only used them as conventional long range bombers until the Canberra and V-Force came into service. Although given they used the same mountings, they could of been fitted with nukes if the RAF were so inclined to use them as such.

I don’t think regular B-29’s had access to nukes, they needed the Silverplate / Saddletree modification to fit the Pumpkin(Fat Man).

And I don’t particularly know about the VB-13 (Tallboy w/ RAZON tailkit) in British service.

Did I spy an exocet & a martlet in that trailer as well? Or am I just failing to recognise missiles.

Not sure where else to ask this, so I’ll ask here. Which control setting is responsible for zoom in Targeting Optics View?
