It just allows you to fire from further out than 10km now, as all you have to do is lock the ground near them and then pre position the lock manually. Doing this would also mean you could stay hidden as all you have to do is wait till its within 6km to get a good lock on the target then fire another. It just makes the process alot safer and will mean you have a better chance at actually scoring hits.
Considering the 2s6 is an 11.0/11.3 spaa at 10.7 theres not much you can do other than hope they dont see you in the buc.

Honestly… I dont really see any reason to do that.
Taking 9 means no AAMs and no other weapons. Sure, strong vs SPAA, but thats about all it can do.
If you take AAMs and some other weapons to do other things, that number drops off fast down to fairly reasonable numbers.
I can maybe see them making the AAM hardpoint not usable, so that is down to 7, but I cant see anymore than that.
Neither GR1 and especially the GR4 are that strong at the moment in GRB and I dont see why it would matter for ARB/ASB

A few SAMs located near the AFs is really not a lot.
Im talking about Radar installations and extra SAM sites scattered about the map. Maybe even as dedicated new objectives. Ideally also some new heavily defended bases made of buildings (like the deep strike event) that require both SEAD and a decent bomb load to attack effectively
That requires very good coordination. Ideally, there should also be a ground observer to perform calibration and launch attacks on the SPAA from the ground.
Good idea, but this is only really ideal on a map like Tropical Coast (Nuclear Thunder) and larger. Trying that on current maps would be hell
