The AS90 also has a 40kph reverse speed which is great

Yeah just noted that, did it have the same proxy fuse type as the M107 IRL? If so would be good to be ready to report.
If not, oh well, 2 rounds like ye olde days, at least the RoF will be fine.

Fuzes are a separate part screwed in to the nose of the shell. They’re interchangeable between L15, L21, M107 etc.
In the UK we generally use L21 HE (UK-made M107, IIRC with an IM-compliant filler lately) on UK ranges, and L15 HE is reserved as war shot
From the 1980s to ~2010, typical UK Fuzes for FH70 and AS90 included:
- L106 and L160 Percussion Direct Action and Graze
- L116 Multi Role Fuze (MRF - Proximity and Percussion modes)
- L92 Mechanical Time Fuze (MTF)
- L132 Electronic Time Fuze (ETF)
MRF an ETF used Fuze Setter Electronic to select modes and delay times.
The time fuzes were mainly for pyrotechnics like SMK (DM105) and ILLUM (DM106) but can be used with HE.
Ed:- apparently the current set of fuzes are
- L174 Percussion Direct Action and Graze
- L166 Multi-Option Fuse for Artillery (MOFA - Proximity, Percussion, Delay, and Time modes)
- L163 Electronic Time Fuze
We use all these fuzes on both 155mm and 105mm shells. Emphasising that they really are interchangeable between ammunition.

Just out off work and i just seen this and finally my suggestion for the AS-90 has finally paid off, it only took them like 6 years lol !!

hope we get to see stormer hvm wwith a new secondary/mixed loadout soon (martlets n starstreaks) now that the new pantsir gets it
I doubt it
One thing I noticed is that the Pantsir’s new “hit to kill” missile gets an actual penetration increase over distance, as it should
The Starstreak is stuck at 30mm for all ranges, which for a kinetic munition is just not how it works. It should start off low, then increase quickly and finally drop off over time.
