The darts do not separate from the booster until 370 m, and it cannot start manoeuvring until the darts separate, so I very doubt the minimum range is 300 M.
I don’t know if the minimum will be 300 or 370, the question is that I don’t think the minimum distance is 2km.
Depends on the speed and aspect of the target, its not as simple as a flat figure. The NA documents that show the Starstreak engagement zones drastically reduce the possibility of engagement close in the higher the speed of the target;

Yeah, though struggling to get into a match vs anything other than 10.7. So i’ve given up with ARB. Gunna try them in SB later

The new NF Mosquito is pretty great imo.
You get an interceptor spawn as its classed as an air defence fighter rather than an attacker, so its really easy to intercept and shoot down bomber. It’s also a lot lighter than the other Mosquitos so climbs and turns a lot better.
Overall it feels a lot more like how I imagined a Mosquito should fly. The TR33 is also not too bad, it feels a bit faster than the other Mosquitos.
no kidding, its got good climb and fairly decent turning performance, you can compete with a suprising amount of single engined aircraft in a turn
I need to crack on and spade it at some point. I did one match in it so far, which didnt go well, because I thought me and a few teammates were going to commit to an engagement vs one guy on his own, only for them to turn around and leg it, leaving me to try and 1v1 a jap fighter, whcih didnt go well. Especially as I didnt realise they had run away, until after I made a turn designed to stay out of the way of a teammate coming in for a run rather than commiting to a proper turn fight
I was impressed by how well it turns, you can actually win dogfights in it unlike the previous Mosquitos. Add the airspawn to that, and its a really strong 3.7 plane.
Sadly it won’t beat a Zero in a dogfight haha, but its a great boom and zoomer which is still quite good in a dogfight against most planes
Im going to try and find some information on the roll rate of the Mosquitos irl, as that seems to be holding them back. I haven’t done many air bug reports yet, so I’ll see how it goes.
