im not thinking of challenger for this but Scimitar and the CVRT family as they struggle violently from the missing regen steering
CVRTs being mobile?
Clearly a marketing lie
Fastest production tank ever built being as slow as a cheiftain over most maps? clearly its accurate
(the accelleration on scimitar is near enough bang on accurate, practically every other vehicle in WT massivley overperforms in accelleration making it seem slow)
Apart from a certain tech tree which shall remain nameless - who DON’T have widespread regen steering on their vehicles until a good chunk of the way through the Cold War.
I mean, the rest of the planet had worked it out but the finest minds at the Tomsk Tractor Factory took a while to catch on.
Which is why we definitely won’t get it this side of thermal death of the universe…
Well there is only so much you can do with within the size and weight constraints, and adding volume and mass to the transmission means taking it from somewhere else, Since if you don’t do that. Entering a weight / volume related design spiral can be difficult to avoid.
Oh I know - my family were in agricultural engineering. I often asked ‘why don’t all tractors have 4WD?’ given they spend 99% of their time off-road.
The answer?
‘It makes the thing twice as complicated, allowing the end-user (Mr Underpaid Tractor Driver) twice as many avenues to bugger the thing up.’
They added a new mk XV model, without the MAT. Realistically the maximum drop speed for the Sea Mosquito should be lower than for the other aircraft with the XV with MAT.
The new Mosquitos also had their FMs and height changed.
The NF got lighter, the TR.33 got heavier
NF mosquito should have a radar right?
Yes it’s got antennas for the AI Mark IV radar (ARI.5003)
The TR.33 should have the option for carrier spawn in test drive etc. too I guess, but it’s missing that so I’ve not had chance to test out the arrestor hook etc. the change log claims was added
Thought so, and thank you. Its a shame they removed Carrier Ops from SB. That would have been fun
Apparently Thomson-CSF, a French company made the seeker for Active Skyflash. Thanks to Lynkhs for these pages.
Spoiler
A Fun fact for you, Thomson-CSF rebranded as Thales in 2000, UK collaboration with the company is nothing new.
This is well know about the system. It’s even been included on Wikipedia since at least 2011.
Yeah been known for a few years now;
was it ever actually test fired?
If i remember right gripen and tornado was meant to have these
'tis “done”
Oops All CVRTs
Green is in game, Yellow is prototypes, Red is paper proposals.
Need to go through and add local designations and find out adoption/creation dates.
Pretty sure I’m missing some minor Upgrades too. So if anyone knows anything I missed please annoy me. o7
You can find the one I made for Centurion here
