Not seen him since he was moaning about T.10 getting 2 Bol lmao

Do we think theyll ever make the BOL pods realistic?

Any news when it will be up?

Also would like to know an ETA, usually vehicle crippling bugs get dealt with a tad faster then this lol.

Probably 3 to 6 months after we get IIR seeker missiles

Not only is it a British vehicle, but also an SPAA, and it even has 4 other contesting it’s spot in the lineup. It’s far from the top of the priority list ;)

As far as I know there is nothing of any significance, at least as far as the game is concerned. In the Phantom FGR.2 manual they make no distinction between the operation of the ARI 18228/3 and ARI 18228/5, besides a passing mention that some aircraft have one and some the other. And the ARI 18228/3 section of the Phantom FG.1 manual is identical to the ARI 18228/1 & /5 section of the FGR.2 manual.

The / number on early ARI 18228 sets likely just denotes hardware improvements. As far as I know the /10 is where things get interesting with threat ID and that sort of stuff.

The ARI 18228 in game is representative of all the early versions, pre /10

Thanks so they are practically the same.

Did Spey phantoms ever get RWR displays for the front pilot?

@da12thmonkey do you have any source that says if TOTE on Tracked Rapier used TICM II or something else?

TICM

Nice, i will try. They should not be able to deny that as for the rapier 2000

Well yeah, that’s GEC saying that TOGS for the Challenger and Chieftain, and Rapier’s thermal imager were pretty much the same imagers, as they were all going into service in 1984

The one on Tracked Rapier just looks like a land-based version of the GSA.7 tracker we had on Royal Navy ships like the Peacock-class since 1983 while Rapier 2000’s big ball-shaped one is more or less GSA.8 which came along in 1985. Both of those used TICM-II

Gaijin belives Tracked Rapier used something else. Dunno what ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Said system should allow for a easy tracking of a airplane during rain.

The Fox/Scim still have 30 degrees a second turret rotation, while its a nerf it really hasn’t affected them that much, the Fox is still really good

Might as well drop the rest of my Rapier reports here
