Hey is Lancaster meant to be able to carry a 1000lb alongside it’s 12000?

iirc 617 ran modified Lancasters and was a special targets group. 617 sqn is also known as the Dambusters
British Phantoms should have either Mk 83 bombs or the N.1 bombs on the Bucc.

Hold on, why are we missing the fencing swords in game?
Because you’d be radarless if you do.
So no radar, but the chance to get a melee kill
You can do that anyway
Ah but not with a sword attached to the nose cone
Wait, did you actually find evidence of them with the N1 bombs?
They look like Mk 83’s so it could go either way.
Still, no harm in loadout choice.
Grinding for the Bucc 2B for a Desert Storm GRB line up, and wow do Aden 30s suck.
My kingdom for a Hawk with Aden 25s
ADEN’s don’t suck. You’re just not aiming properly.
Half the time I’m leading off the edge of the monitor to hit anything, and when I do hit it does about as much damage as a moist tea bag, they suck, give me a hispano any day of the week over these POS
I need gaijin add 2 new targeting pod Rafael Litening III and AN/AAQ-33 Sniper this year (second or third or winter major update)
Interesting to note that In wartime the RAF has never paid any attention to loadout charts in the manuals. The entire point of those documents is to preserve the airframe in peace time.
We were strapping stormshadows to Tornados in 2003 when the adaptors hadn’t even been manufactured by MBDA… it required some extra drilling.
Dambusters squadron keeping to their roots.
We are still waiting for clearance from Lockheed to install Metors into the F35 but we may or may not have a workaround ready to go…
Yeah looking forward to better thermals
I believe it’s not a difficult for gaijin add Litening III on JAS39 Gripen C this year and similar to AN/AAQ-33 Sniper
Yeah, any and all muscle memory from previous aircraft goes out of the window with them. Why I can’t wait for radar gunsight for the FRS1. Gunna make a world of difference
The bigger issue is velocity and the lack of post pen effect.
Due to the really terrible velocity the AP shells drop to 22mm of pen at 0 at 500m. At the same range the SAP from the hispanos has 16mm, and from the muzzle an extra 29m/s of velocity (and extra 49m/s with stealth belts for some reason). Leads to at least in my experance them being terrible at dealing with planes with lots of modules. Then when they do pen, cause they’re a hunk of metal they don’t really do much, compared with SAP that just dismantles aircraft.
